I will say, I live in the southern US and testing was a nightmare. I went to a small hospital on Monday, nearly unable to walk from the fever and dehydration I was experiencing. There were so many fucking people standing around the parking lot that looked absolutely healthy and fine, no coughing. I got dropped off right at the testing area and just stumbled around everyone, but they also saw how fucked up I looked and parted like the Red Sea. Hopefully, they now know what it looks like and they won’t waste the hospitals time but I doubt it.

I paid on a gurney for like an hour with no attention before someone did the test. Then I waited until this afternoon to hear back. THEY SENT ME HOME TO WAIT and my symptoms ramped up yesterday.

I was born with a hole in my tricuspid valve. I had it replaced with a porcine valve when I was 23 but heart valves from animals don’t last long- usually about 10 years so I’m on the last leg. I was in the hospital in feb with a heart rate problem and pericarditis, which I still have to be on meds for and the med has some kind of side effect with pneumonia medication, which is where the problem comes from with a treatment plan. The coronavirus isn’t as bad as the pneumonia, risk wise.

I got tested positive Sunday, I had a low grade fever and was never that sick. I'm like 90% better.

I took 650mg of tylenol every 8 hours or so and drank an assload of water and gatorade. Fever only lasted like into Monday. Otherwise I've been just experiencing body aches. Now I'm about better.

Other than the heart valve, I’m very healthy. Didn’t even have a problem with the valve until recently. The valve problem comes down to treatment options, not how sick I’m going to get. It’s a respiratory sickness.

Last time I went out was Tuesday of last week before shit hit the fan. I got a weird feeling in my throat Sunday night, coughing by Monday morning at around 9am, fever and hacking to death by dinner. It’s stayed relatively level. It’s like it comes and goes but the coughing is one constant.

yeah, i don't know really but what i learned is that our body system is really strong correlated. let's say your heart is a little bit weaker, so everything is fine on normal days.
but if you add respiratory Problems, your heart will need to pump more to give your body all the oxygen and since you have some issues, it's immediately starting to fuck things up.
i guess that could be a significant Issue, while a Person without your Condition still would be "okay". (they will be sick of course but they will not be on "Red Alert" Mode because of it you know.)

Well, here in America, people don’t know they have health problems because a lot of us don’t go to the doctor. I lost my insurance about a year after my OHS and hadn’t been to the doctor until the rhythm problem happened which was what got me on the meds I take. They said my heart rate was 180 resting and that’s not something that happens overnight, especially if I didn’t notice until that day. I was just used to my heart rate being high because it slowly escalated. I think it’s going to kill a lot of people here that didn’t know they were unhealthy.
