I'm a landlord, the type of scum I used to have to deal with when I owned property in shitholes was unbelievable. I would unironically drown every tenant I had during those times without exception if I could. It would be a public service. I would however not require they pay rent in this situation.

The problem is an assymetric government response. This is not business as usual. Gov should probably say something along the lines of, HOUSING IS GUARANTEED FOR 2 MONTHS, NO WORRIES! but they will not because they are retarded cunts.

It doesnt change the issue of not paying rent at all. HOUSING GUARANTEED doesnt mean I wont have 3 months of rent to pay when I get back to work. Government should suspend all mortgage and rent payments and tell the landlords to fucking deal with it.

I am landlord (more like commieblock flatlord, lol). Contacted my long term tenant and said that if shit hits the fan for his family we can rearrange contract so it will be comfortable for both of us (give gree months, decresse payment, etc). He thanked a lot and said they will do there best to keep old arrangments.
