An interesting back story everyone is denying this morning...

Yesterday afternoon, the UAW and the heads of GM/Ford/Chrysler had a meeting about how to handle the virus. In the end, they all agreed that they would keep the factories open and fuck the workers (the union masters having more in common with the company masters than the workers)

This meeting was around the same time that it was announced that a worker at the Sterling Assembly Plant (SHAP) had tested positive for the virus.

Well, the night shift showed up and refused to work until their lives were protected. 1/2 of them walked out, and then management had to send the rest of them home because they couldn't run the line.

This morning, the union is suddenly acting like they give a shit about the worker, and finally all three had to announce they were shutting down all US plants.

In the meantime, people from the union and management are trying hard to deny that the incident ever happened

I watched some footage of these drive thru testing sites. Pure kabuki theater. Specimen requirement is nasopharyngeal just like H1N1 was. That means NP wire swab up nostril into sinus back of throat. It hurts. People at these sites are qtiping the entrance of nostril and moving on. No way positive test will come from this technique. But it’s all bs.

Reporting in from 616. Two employees at my work were forced to stay home and get tested because one of them was feeling feverish and the other might have been exposed. Results will be available in the a couple of days. He clocked in for 3 hours before being sent home because he is a double digit IQ retard, probably exposed a lot more people to it. The headlines are not really whats going on. They are still staying open at certain facilities. Warren tech center, flint truck and Arlington truck are still required to show up for work. OT is being offered for the weekend. Confirmed cases at the Tech center but the UaW guys are being forced to stay and work in unsanitary conditions, no sanitizer, low paper towels, low on soap.
