Our military is a joke and would just get me killed in any actual war.
If I were in the US I might have gone armor - you get to be on the frontline, doing the actual work of fighting a war, but you also don't have to walk, have a giant uranium slab between you and danger, and get to fire a giant cannon instead of a rifle.
