Do it. Every part of my life blew up all at once. I basically got critically hit by the universe. Long story short, moving in with mom and dad is in my best financial interests right now (I'm in my late 40s for reference, never been unemployed longer than 2 weeks since the age of 16). If I have to I will sleep in my car with the 3 months of food supplies I've got and my camping gear. These boomers are the most carefree lemmings. Meanwhile I haven't left my apartment in weeks except for groceries (every 14 days). All my precautions will be for nothing the second I am exposed to them. Meanwhile my mom eats like a bird, but balks at the cost of buying more than a few days worth of groceries at a time, despite being upper middle class.

A couple days ago I had to buy and deliver groceries for my grandparents because they didn't prep at all and they all of a sudden realized the gravity of the situation for people in their elderly and sickly condition and are now too afraid to leave their homes.

I was almost finished prepping before the first case hit the usa and was already adjusting myself to fewer and smaller meals, figuring if i'm wrong the worst that can happen is I eat the food anyway, and I could stand to lose a few pounds, so this seemed like the ideal time to diet.

No it is based. I just walked by my stack of number 10 cans last night. Feels real good, man. Then I went upstairs and saw two more giant cans of beans that I just bought. the whole section was full at the store. The little cans were gone, the TP was gone, but all the number ten cans of beans and things were still all there.

I warned my parents them for weeks and they just ignored me. So I just prepped for myself, took all the toilet paper and now they have none.
