There aren't even cures to the common cold. Name one virus that can be cured by medicine. All viruses can only be cured by the immune system.

i didn't know looking for cures in nature made us LSD smoking hippies. Do you know that most medicine are made from natural plants? It's all about extracting that molecule and putting it in a tab, but you can as well boil the plant itself.

Ancient plagues died when all the carriers died. That means if you can eradicate the virus from every carrier, it's just the same.
