Why hasn't the corona shit convinced you that the system is corrupt from top to bottom?

This is murder and they should be shot.
Nationalize their company.
It won't survive so it doesn't even matter.
Let them rage and reee. A new age was set upon beginning starting this year. In order for new eras, the old must go away. The transition is underway and not much will be left untouched. One thing that is going away is excessive profiteering and rent seeking. These clowns will REEE the loudest and suffer the most.
The insanely priced medical device/test industry is done.
Expect walmart and amazon to be given the green light by govt. to disrupt the shit out of them.
>be capitalism

The jew will be happy to take your lawyer coins and tell you that you can sue whoever you want.
Not sure if I want the CEO of this company shot and hung from the street lights, or given a trophy for worlds greatest douche.
This is in Italy, FYI
OP is a fag as usual. Doesn't even have a link.
Those valves were printed in self defense
do the valves actually work?
>Be communism
>Suppress information
>Causes the biggest pandemic since 1918
/thread
Lol
>"Yep, its collapse time"
do we even need those valves, i mean what the fuck? why not print something else using a4 paper instead?
Hello optics department...
Fuck you retards
They are suing because if the hospital uses those makeshift valves in the medical company's ventilator, and something goes wrong, that company is 100% liable and will have sued into bankruptcy.
>capitalism
>a medical company using the laws created by the government in order to prohibit market competition
>capitalism
Patents aren't capitalism. They're government.
>someone makes a knockoff of your product
>you get sued for the damage it causes
???
Medical companies have no choice but to aggressively defend patented tech simply because all the regulations surrounding medical devices and new pharmaceuticals make it insanely expensive to test and certify them. The bar for entry being so high creates monopolies and price-fixing by its very nature. It's just like Taxi drivers with their Taxi Medallions being extremely butthurt and BTFO over Uber.
11k for a plastic tube? They should bring back public executions for these subhumans
They worked on 10 patients, dont know how many they attempted to use on but 10 is way better than 0, which would have happened because the company added four zeroes to the cost of their product.
3D-printed plastic is full of imperfections. The medical industry has very high tolerances. Only LEGO has higher tolerance
>We at BIG MEDICAL GOODS INC are in business to help save lives...
>but only if you pay 10 grand for $1 worth of plastic
seems very ((()))
Patents and copyright are socialist.
Guess who just lost big time again in voting today?
Read the article you stupid faggot. They are suing because they say its infringing on their patent, the 3d printing duo asked for the blueprints so they could quickly replicate it, got told they would be sued, then replicated it by eye instead after.
This, 'intelectual property' is a mean to monopolize a product, concept, idea, mechanism, etc. through brute state force, this aint free market
that makes no sense.. who is suing china for all those knockoff products? why would cola be sued for the problem with pepsi?
They won't actually sue.
The public backlash would kill their company.
It's just whining and idle threats, because in a capitalist society, people can take their money elsewhere, rather than in a communist society where, the first moment these guys proved how ineffective the system was by one-upping it, they'd both be taking one-way trips to the gulag.
After all, the State cannot look foolish or impotent!
They can sue all they want, doesn't mean they'll win.
I'm sure many would defend them pro bono
their given justifications are absolutely socialist
put into practice, these laws are the height of feudalism
wow he can pee pretty hard
Pretty funny when they have nationalized healthcare
I love this post.
That has nothing to do with capitalism, tardo. That's literally just your country having shitty laws.
>Capitalists
>Not realizing if it was true capitalism that there would be no government or courts to sue competition into oblivion.
It's almost like Leftists blame the mechanics of capitalism than the machinations of Government and bureaucracy for their problems.
Libertarians don't believe in IP. These guys can make whatever they want
What is it with all you dumb mutts comparing an economic system to a political system?
>hunting nonces with blanks
>Company admits they cant get the valves produced and sent to the hospital in time
>Guys literally 3d print them for $1 each
>They save 10 lives that would have gone unassisted by valves before
>"N...no, you cant use those valves!!! they arent clinically produced!!!! They have to be produced properly!!!!!"
>Completely ignoring that 10 people would have died if the hospital hadnt reached out to the 3d printers
Fucking subhuman trash. Imagine their nervous spazzing when their "highly complicated valves" that they sell for 10+ grand each gets fucking replicated by $1 3d printing
uhhh, no, it actually makes them LESS liable, especially if their ventilator uses a proprietary valve design. Use of unlicensed/untested parts would be off-label/misuse by the doctors and absolves the manufacturer of most if not all liabilities if something went wrong. They just buttmad because 3d-printing costed them $11k in sales.
Ok yeah you’re right I guess the bad guys are the good guys if u say so cause of all your reasons and shit.
Intellectual property rights are not capitalist and should be abolished
Communists are the only countries sending support while our liberal neighboars blocked both export and transit.
Shit is fucked.
>NOOOOO YOU HAVE TO BUY MY HECKIN CLAMPERINO FOR 11 THOUSANDERINO DOLLARYDOOS I'LL SUE YOU
Most of the big medical companies want the system that way so new companies can't get off the ground.
wich communist countries are sending help here? Cuba? Venezuela?
Yep, happens a lot. Essentially what the company will have to do when they inevitably get sued for these valve failures is to prove that it wasn't their ventilator, but rather just the knockoff valve that caused the failure. This is damn near impossible and will could cost the company quite a lot.
Lol, you guys have zero idea how the medical industry works. Even if the product is cheap as hell to produce. The design and testing necessary to get the device approved for medical use cost millions. All that money needs to be recouped in selling a relatively small number of devices (unlike apple, they aren't going to sell 1 million of these things). Then you add in the fact that they are also going through the design and testing of new devices, which means they need even more capital just to stay afloat. Medical devices are expensive because of GOVERNMENTAL regulations. Seriously , it costs 2.5 billion to bring a new drug to market, of which less than 100 million is actually design and production costs. Medical devices and drug are expensive because of governments, not companies. You want cheap equipment and drugs, loosen the rules, but be forewarned you will have a major problem of substandard drugs and equipment.
>They just buttmad because 3d-printing costed them $11k in sales.
Read again, each valve costs $11k so who knows how much they lost.
And fuck them to be honest, if your fucking product is so simple it can be 3d printed for 1 dollar without even needing your blueprints or patents just by eyeballing it then you can go fuck yourself if you think $11k its what its worth.
You dumb fucking burger. Of course they can sue, the problem is the expansion of government allows one company to sue another into oblivion than to allow the competition of companies to make the best product to win out.
As somebody who has no idea what they're talking about, when you customize or alter electronics that makes the company not liable for replacement or damages, or some shit like that.
Have the chinks injection mold 6,000,000 of them for 10 cents each.
those plus china
>Companies can sue people for competing with them
I'm sorry, you must hear this all the time, but what you have is not capitalism.
China and Cuba.
>china
are you chink in italy or just a shill?
>a few grams of injection molded plastic
>"very high tolerance"
Get into the oven Shekelberg
tldr
It's the same with the ssd for RED cameras, they were plain notebook ssd with firmware lock so they could charge insane amounts for their premium drives.
The company would have to prove that the valve used for that particular patient was 3D printed. Best of luck doing that when the hospital is overflowing with patients and ventilators are being passed around more than a blunt at a reggae fest.
I'm looking at the article and that's not there. I see it in OPs pic, but its not from the article itself.
You mean the AMERICAN system is corrupt from top to bottom.
The civilised world has PUBLIC healthcare.
You don't, because your country is shit.
I vote PD.
shit is getting crazy and serious, im pretty sure if they sue they going to get murdered.
>do the valves actually work?
Yes, valves aren't some fucking unknown art form.
Exactly why bernie bros and their fellow communists fail miserably at actually doing anything.
Why is there a black market under socialism? Why would people have to hide the free exchange of goods from the government?
So what if many would defend them pro bono? They’d lose you stupid cunt. God Americans are so fucking stupid. I’d kill you if I could. Crush your fucking throat.
