Italy has a 12.5% death rate from Coronavirus

>31,500 cases
>2,500 deaths

What the fuck, this can't all be because of their old age. Why is this harming Europeans most? It's not only spreading way more densely it's killing us at a higher %

how many did they add today?

That’s 8% dumbfuck, but yeah it’s still higher and more contagious here

Probably less than that considering that most people under the age of 30 who have been tested had no symptoms. There are likely a lot more mild cases that were never tested.

Still scary though

I've been saying for a while now it could affect caucasians worse. We often hear of black people or asian people being more affected by something, looks like it could be time for white people. Iran is also doing really badly - but Iranians are vastly more related to white people than asians (there's that idea that iranians are technically caucasian).

Jesus Christ everyone keeps doing this, mortality rate isnt cases / deaths. It's outcomes, recoveries / deaths.

And, its the exact same thing that will happen in the US: medical capacity overwhelmed, ~12% require hospitalization and weeks of recovery to make it.

Bunch of old chronic smokers in Italy and you’re surprised the death rate is higher? Lol

we've been over this. the numbers are cooked they're only testing severe patients
