AC2 was great the story was literally Italian Batman and the characters and locations were really nice although the edgy liberal writing was too much at times and the last boss was you assassinating the pope. That game ended on such a high note and they squandered it. The last two AC games are utter mindless grindy SJW trash.

Rogue was the best. Not the biggest game, but great story.

Odyssey was underrated as hell. Put 106 hours in and was never really bored. Grinding and microtransactions were also overblown. You don't really have to unless you do nothing but main story quests (which would be ducking stupid). Having Fate of Atlantis be an expansion was total bullshit. The game is incomplete without it. Don't know why no one complained about that.

"Film" style they try to go with the romance is bleh. Massively buggy on launch but got patched to become playable. Still has some big bugs but it still fun.

A heavily downgraded version of Unity. Heavily leftist and the parkour and combat were downgraded back to the old styles. Line launcher makes parkour unnecessary, which feels cool to be Batman but shitty in an AC game. Story is the definition of "meh" with the worst final boss in the entire series.
