Any NYC anons heard helicopters past couple days?

not nyc but something happened that was strange. a firetruck pulled in front of my apartment complex and a few guys got out, all in masks, one in full plastic wrapping. they carried a yellow box and stopped in front of the gates. one guy was holding a laptop looking back and forth and typing stuff in while the rest were doing god knows what prodding the ground out of my line of sight, they were taking things out of the yellow box as well. lasted about 5 minutes and they left.

i asked around but people online kept saying "lol idk the fire truck probably had the wrong address, stop panicking," so i got annoyed and deleted the video and post. that really doesnt make any sense at all though. they have modern gps systems, how often do YOU pull in front of the wrong building and then spend 5 minutes handling medical gear doing god knows what before realizing it.

i would like to know wtf it was though. i dont buy for a god damned second that a firetruck equipped with modern gps run buy guys who know literally every street in the city would just show up at the wrong address. that's retarded, and that's all people were telling me it was. if firefighters did that kind of shit they'd be real fucking bad firefighters, showing up to the wrong damn house.

This is genuinely concerning just hearing about, wish that I could see it. You're using basic logic on this, of course it wouldn't make sense for them not to know. Many firefighters, police and EMS know the streets by heart to not fiddle with the GPS time. They do it everyday, if you work at walmart restocking food, you're damn well going to know what is on Isle 15, so why in the hell would first responders be doing lost in a city? As a life long new yorker the only thing that I noticed so far during this crises were two black unmarked vans parked outside my residence with a weird antenna on the roof of both vans. The guys in the vans weren't wearing hazmat suits but something that looked like pic related. They kept going in and out of this abandoned building. I'm going to investigate tonight and see what's inside.

yeah thanks you assholes, now someone tell me what this is, because that sure don't look like "the firetruck had the wrong address" or "they were called there to give medical help to someone". there were no people outside laying on the ground there, it isn't even wide enough for someone to lay there without their legs showing in the video, and i went and examined the area and there was nothing amiss like flattened plants. and they never entered or even tried to enter the apartments. so what were they doing? also there is no house number at the spot they're looking at, so they are not double checking an address. that isn't where the mailboxes are either.

I lived in NYC for years and heard helicopters constantly. Depending on the neighborhood, every couple of minutes.

It's the most populous, richest city in the Western Hemisphere filled with celebrities, the uber-wealthy, government officials, CEOs... plus constant NYPD operations, traffic monitoring, medical traffic etc.

Helicopters over NYC is nothing noteworthy and the dude is probably just noticing it for the first time.
