Guys do you see this bright star in the west? It's too bright to be a star, it's not a plane. Is it a meteor? Do others see this?

Is it Venus?

Dunno

It's this Blue Beam crap the retards wasted billions building.

Blue Beam....that's what I was thinking about - but for other reasons....

Probably Jupiter. Venus is usually seen close to the horizon

Fuck you for making me go to the balcony to check.
Anyway, there's nothing there.

I know what you mean and I agree.
Look more south.

I see it. I also noticed nights are extremely dark lately. Where is the fucking moon?

Weird purple clouds, virgin white sun, unstable shitty climate... jews are working overtime these days.

Guys, a star just flew over my house!

Venus. It does that all the time, but it seems further from the Sun than usual.

Its Venus. Bunch of retard mouthbreathers around here

Pics or it didn't happen

is it the 'Apophus" meteor? Tom Horn has a new book coming out about the "Apophus meteor"

It was never that bright and blinking?

Twinkle twinkle mother fuckers

Hi OP, I used to dable in amateur astronomy for a bit. There is a program called Stellarium, with it you can check pretty much any object in the sky.

When I checked the sky at my place (south of netherlands) I indeed saw a bright spot south/southwest and one a little more west/higher up. You're most likely looking at Sirius, one of the brightest stars in our nightsky.

Negative, Jupiter is currently not in our sky.

Venus is north/northwest for us, and currently still below the horizon.

>OP is looking at Sirius.

See you guys on 6th of october when your asking the same thing about the big red star. Also known as mars at its closest to earth.

ive been noticing it every night.. i got the google sky app and it said "venus"

Checked. But Apophis is scheduled for 2029 i think.

I find it hard to believe this is the same board that used astronomy to wreck Shia LaDouche's flag.
Sad!

Stellarium says Venus. It is too bright though

Its not Venus. OP said, South/SouthWest, if you check a skymap for the Netherlands as of 22:45 you'll notice Venus is still below our horizon and OP is looking at Sirius.

it's a street light

>Calvin
Stupid faggot.

I'm not saying right now.. I did this two days ago.

I noticed the light for 3 days before I checked.

Kek. The gang gets lazy during a pandemics

> The biggest victims of the Netherlands live in traditional Catholic regions.

Is John Calvin right?

Given clear skies, you can’t miss Venus in your western sky after sunset. Venus ranks as the third-brightest celestial body to light up the heavens, after the sun and moon. Some sharp-eyed people might even see this brilliant world in a daytime sky. However, most of us will have to wait until after the sun goes down to see this blazing beauty of a planet – the first “star” to pop out in the west after sunset.

Because Venus orbits the sun inside the Earth’s orbit, Venus can never be opposite the sun in our sky. Nor can Venus be as much as 90 degrees away from the sun in our sky (like the moon at its first and last quarter phases). At maximum, this world swings out 47 degrees from the sun on the sky’s dome. So, when Venus is visible, we either see it in the west after sunset or in the east before sunrise.

Its fucking venus ffs

You were looking at sirius 3 days ago too.
Thats how orbits work.

And do you mean you've been noticing the light for 3 days now?

Calvin was always right. Faithful Dutch Reformed will survive the virus. Papist dogs will succumb.

Most boomers here are Catholics. So getting rid of two birds with one Chink flu.

Thank you China for bat disease

Yeah I've seen it for a new nights now. I have this sudden and continual urge to pour libations in its honor.

Anyone else? Surely it represents some ancient god.

An asteroid is due to fly by next month. If it hits it'll do a lot of damage but it's not ELE sized. In three years an ELE sized asteroid is supposed to fly by and not hit us, but if it flys at just the right angle the Earth will disrupt its orbit enough so that it hits us on the next pass.

it's always fucking venus whenever someone asks this

citation needed.

You will feel the hand of God soon

Go eat monkey soup fucking Portuguese mutt

i saw it a week ago. i couldn't believe how bright it was. pretty sure it was venus. it was low on the horizon and the moon was full and in the opposite direction. i think everything was in the perfect position to make it appear extra bright.

Your quite a bit north of my lat. I digress.

Go to suck some marijuana

It is fucking Venus. It's brighter than usual because right now it's relatively close to earth. Not to mention it has the highest albedo in solar system due to its thick cloud layer.

Lazy is OK. Tardation is inexcusable.

yup noticed. maps say its venus but i swear that shit was horizontal for a bit

No, been raining here for like a year.

The End is nigh though, and if it's Venus, that may be another sign. Some alignment is happening on April 4th, I forget all the details.

Did I mention that the End is nigh?

ABC's of Salvation:
To be safe for all eternity:
A: Admit that you are a sinner, who violates the Will of God, and that you need a Saviour. Repent. Turn away from your sin and toward Jesus. (Matthew 4:17; Romans 2:4, 3:10, 6:23; Acts 3:19)
B: Believe that Jesus Christ, Son of God & Messiah, died for your sins and rose again, and that He will come again, as prophesied and recorded in the Word of God. Trust in His finished work on the cross. (Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9)
C: Call on His name, ask Him to save you, and confess that He is Lord. (Romans 10:9-10, 10:13, 14:10-11; Philippians 2:10)

Why do you have so many papists? Isn't the Bijbelgordel all devout Calvinists?

Noticed that too. Dark enough for stars to be seen, but the moon is seemingly gone.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=wNeT27h_Yxw

Moon is setting before the sun right now.

I saw the space station fly across the sky last night. Breddy cule

.....my reply to that post is contextually contingent on that post, NPC.
>Hans: I see it. I also noticed nights are extremely dark lately
>me: Noticed that too. Dark enough for stars to be seen, but the moon is seemingly gone.
>you: Moon is setting before the sun right now.
Neither Hans nor I am talking about right now. We're talking about at night.
I shouldn't have to explain this. I really shouldn't. You NPCs make me want to just crawl back in bed and never wake up again. You just drain all my reason for living with every interaction.

The moon is gone at night because its on the other side of the planet. Its setting at 2p.m.ish

Go back to school zoomer

Attached: Screenshot_2020-03-17-17-42-36-1.png (1177x1525, 107.29K)

>it's totally normal that the moon is gone at the time that it shouldn't be guise
>it's setting at 2 pm ish guise
>go back to school zoomer

>avoids the context
>dodges responsibility of being specific and accurate
>makes a statement that is abnormal as if it is normal
>attempts to denigrate
So you're an NPC trying to do damage control and your approach is to state that something bizarre and not at all normal is normal, and to call me a zoomer when you probably weren't even born when I started posting on this website.
Ok.
Shitty damage control is shitty.

Quick cheat sheet when you look at the moon: read its lighting right-to-left to see how much of the night it's out during. We're in the waning half now so the moon is only up after midnightish, before sunrise.

Attached: download.jpg (750x500, 71.5K)

Dude just stop. You are showing your american education its not a good look

I rest my case

Thanks, non NPC user, but I went out about 1245 AM and although the stars were visible to a certain degree, the moon wasn't, which is quite peculiar.
Came back for more, did you, retarded shitty NPC damage control? Your point doesn't apply. You assumed that you knew the entire situation accurately quite arrogantly, but as I just demonstrated, and you confirmed through your attempt in trying to piggy back on that user's post, you didn't.
So now there's shit on your face and you're the one who put it there yourself.
I reiterate, shitty damage control is shitty.

>west
>evening
>venus
gee, idunno brainlet. what do you think?

Also, around 1:30 ish AM too, it still wasn't visible either.

>Venus is usually seen close to the horizon
normally I'd argue but you're probably in the north of your country. from your perspective that is correct depending on the year

Here is some homework. Tomorrow morning look up at ecliptic from east to west, report back with findings.

>I went out about 1245 AM
Look east and wait a couple hours. The moon hasn't risen by that point.

Attached: Untitled.png (896x529, 53.89K)

Meant for

Whew lad and I said the same thing. Also backed up with Here's a homework assignment for you. Tomorrow morning look up at ecliptic from east to west. report back with your findings
