If you actually remove the people over 70 (basically people who are already dying anyway) then the mortality average rate is actually below 1%, 0.84% to be exact, and that still includes old fucks in the range of 50-69. This is just a very infectious flu that's killing the already dead.
The reason why you're seeing mass panic and all this shit closing is because it's all boomers who own these businesses and are in high government positions that are shit scared their time is coming to an end, so they are making sure nobody can do anything so they don't catch this virus and lose their cushy jobs where they sit around and make money.

Nursing homes, hospitals, all that stuff, should have only essential personnel coming in and out.
