Covid19 deaths worldwide so far 4613 according to WHO, only 70 or so in the US. US traffic fatalities last year 1.25 million, or 3,400ish EVERY DAY. The covid19 response doesn’t make sense. Grocery stores in the US are out of food. No ammunition on shelves to buy other than .22.
Saudi Arabia vs. Russia oil price war. Oil is trading at roughly $33 a barrel.
The economy is in the shitter. People are being told to not work and businesses are being told to close. Bills still come due.
The response doesn’t seem justified to the quantifiable number of deaths. And not just an abundance of caution type thing, we are seeing our country crippled, along with the rest of the world, over basically a few deaths. It doesn’t make sense. None of this makes any sense.
Is this the beginnings of WWIII? Russia, China, Iran, and maybe NK vs. USA? Are they keeping us inside and ruining our economy for a bigger hidden threat they’re not telling us about? What the fuck is going on? I feel like the world has gone crazy. Help me understand. Thanks.
The U.S. is lagging behind.the coofers are still spreading out. Watch the Italy numbers this week and next. Then 2-3 fold those numbers and that will be what the east and west coast looks like
Dylan Bailey
if we didn't take any measures and let it spread the numbers would be way higher
Carter Davis
Because it's a ruse to make libshits stay home so mass arrests can go down.
Landon Lopez
take 70% of us population, how many is that? That is many, now 7.7% of those 70% die.
Jaxon Cruz
Either they are rolling in the slave system right now or they're going to roll up the people running things with the tainted adrenochrome. Take your pick.
Kayden Myers
It's not about the virus. It's about the panic. If people start buying tp everyone suddenly gets worried there won't be any left so they start buying extra too. Same with food, same with gas. You have next to nothing to fear from the virus but it's when people are fearful of an insecure future that they start acting irrationally and become dangerous
Gavin Wood
>US traffic fatalities last year 1.25 million were they too busy wiping with a whole roll of toilet paper to pay atention?
Kayden Richardson
Its not treatable. And despite the low mortality it spreads like fucking wildfire which means if people are not careful boomers start falling left and right >"EHEHEH, Im an edgy incel who's miserable. I want boomers gone kek!" Yeah but most people dont want it so here we are.
Logan Martinez
biggest pretend right wing larp on this board, amazing

>Is this the beginnings of WWIII?
Yes. SARS-CoV-2 was a bio weapon. We are 3mths max away from WW3. Unless the world's leaders and private banking jews stop being gay
Evan Young
And on top of that I've heard that those who "recover" can still end up with permanent lung damage.
>trusting government numbers >trusting government numbers DURING a panic
Joseph Wilson
How high? Greater than or equal to the 3,400 who die every day in a car crash? Nowhere in the rest of the world has experienced that many deaths from covid19. The total global number of deaths in the last three to four months is only barely larger than the number of IS citizens who die every day in car wrecks. The response seems like a severe overreaction when you compare numbers to numbers.
Camden Jackson
7.7% of chinas population didn’t die though.
Cooper Miller
It’s called mass hysteria The virus is dangerous, absolutely. But the panic is making it 10x worse
Ian Morris
this this is the problem. The US is not the same as any other country experiencing high fatalities. We have a different laws, regulations, health care systems, living conditions. you can't look at all effected countries with the multi cultural lens. It will steer you wrong every time. Cultures are different, economies are different, people are different. The media wants everyone to believe in cultural relativism, and that there are no differences between anyone, and that all outcomes are dictated solely by muh racism. Stop looking to other countries to get a sense of how we should respond, or even if our figures will be out of control. We are not the same, and when its playing out real time, the pundits on the left must continue to come up with lies to explain away what reality is slapping them with.
Conspiracy theorists like David Icke and Alex Jones are unironically right about this situation. It’s the catalyst for the new world order.
Kevin Cox
>Unless the world's leaders and private banking jews stop being gay keked and cheked. but you know they will never stop
Parker Diaz
Governments took note of how China responded, and you better believe they have more credible signals intelligence than they will ever reveal to the public. We know China has cooked the numbers and that they are STILL under lock down, so that's a start for what you should be thinking about here. The bioweapon and biosafety leak possibilities are just maybes to the general public, but far more will be know within each states security apparatus. Even putting all of that aside, as another user says it ultimately doesn't matter how bad the virus is, the perception by the public is what governments are driven to respond to, because an economoc crash die to perception alone is already happenong. If that progressed to mass nig-outs (plausible) then total national economic and social collapses are not unforseeable.
Josiah Gomez
You didnt react this way to some muzzie killing people NPC scared Trump isnt around for dick sux
Benjamin Ortiz
>Over 50,000 people died just in Wuhan you know if you don't offer proof you're just a liar
Nicholas Hill
And given the mortality rate of flu is already priced in and stable year to year, what do you think the death rate of this new virus is going to look like a bit further into the future? Imagining the future surely isn't that hard for you?
Nicholas Sanders
It's about stopping people from spreading the virus from one another that's why it's called social distancing.
To pregnant deaths they want less people on the street so stopped daily life so the of virus spread is reduced.
Samuel Clark
China population 1.4 billion+. 70% is around 980,000,000. China didn’t experience 8 million deaths. No fucking way.
Mason Kelly
Yes let's get official numbers from Communists.
Brandon Bell
It's just a new strain of flu so it's death rate is negligible and part of the normal flu numbers.
Noah Martinez
The masses respond however the mass media tells them to, not based on how the reality of the situation actually effects them. The mass media is pushing this hysteria.
Still sounds like bullshit to me. Not enough bodies to justify this response. 2 to 3 times a few hundred in Italy? Still a drop in the bucket compared to any other cause of death. Contagion or not.
Michael Cox
It's because boomers are the most susceptible. This is their last "fuck you" to the world
Jordan Harris
are you intentionall trying to miss the point of my post or are you just that autistic?
That is not true, mass media is telling everyone to not panic and buy all the food yet that is what everyone is doing
Luke Allen
Can anyone explain why the Uk is expecting somewhere in the region of 20.000 corpses when the relative shithole the spawned this virus only has a few thousand?
Are the chinks just not reporting/underestimating the number of dead related to the virus?
Doesn't seem right to me.
Josiah Green
Listen here Jack, I'm gonna set you straight. I'll only say this once so listen up, Fat. This virus isn't going anywhere. Let me repeat myself, this virus isn't going anywhere. Back in my day we didn't call it covid whatever; we called it the "Shanghai Shivers". OK, here's the deal, Slick. I used to know a guy, went by the name Cornflake Jackson. Ol' Cornflake used to play guitar down at the pool hall. He caught the Shanghai Shivers one year and let me tell you, if Cornflake Jackson says, "It ain't no thang" you can take that to the bank, Buckaroo. That's how I know you're full of shit. I'd punch your daughter straight in the mouth.
maybe. because shit is unreal right now, there's no logical explanation for this level of virus response worldwide. but Im not convinced its mass arrests either. It could be a first volley of WWIII or the population control (both reduction and control of) to herald in the globalist nwo. Look how easy they have shut us all down. When the lights go on again, we might be fully enslaved..and all willing to give up our rights in the name of fear. Mayor in Illinois wrote herself powers to ban all gun and alcohol sales. When her townspeople didn't string her up THAT DAY for that bit of egregious and anti-Constitutional tyranny, it tells me most of us are doomed.
Mason Morris
>0.45% of wuhan population bretty weak weapon
Dylan Murphy
I’m mainly focused and more puzzled by the government’s response. To take a raging economy and throw it in the dumpster. To grind all business to a halt. For 80ish deaths. It doesn’t make sense.
Cooper Morales
>this thing worse so don’t worry about other thing just walk around town licking doorknobs if it’s not a big deal to you
Ryan Myers
it’s 2000 dead right now
if the numbers keep up we should be looking at around 10000 dead next week.
That's why we must revolt against the lockdowns and social distancing measures. This is a nothingburger.
Jaxson Kelly
A conventional explosive, a bullet, an accident, an act of war in a limited scenario or a proxy war, a natural disaster such as a tsunami or earthquake, etc... all of these things don't spread. If a bomb lands a big city and kills millions, that's that. It's over. Damage gets assessed, there's appropriate retaliation, mourning, rebuilding, etc... life goes on. Same applies for every other disaster that lasts a limited time and affects a limited area. A virus can spread everywhere and has the potential to kill far more people in the long run. >but muh flu and other shit Yes, they're bad, not as bad as Corona, but they do kill a lot of people each year. More than Corona now, because they're already established diseases. You want ANOTHER established disease that works year round, not only the ones we already have? Get it? You're short sighted and don't see what devastating consequences this has. It's easy to assess a school shooting, terror bombing or natural disaster. The damage is instant and often times extreme. Thousands or more people, all dead, in just one event that lasted for a few minutes or hours. The virus on the other hand is a veeeeeeeeeery slow burn, but the impact that it has and that it will have now that it's uncontainable, will be magnitudes larger than NYC getting nuked 1x, for instance.
Isaac Morris
This is exactly what I’m talking about and most concerned with. Thanks for saying it better than I could bro. Life in the US has changed overnight. That’s not debatable. Still want to know exactly why.
I work for a housing company. Appartment buildings. Section 8 mostly. So, our clients are mostly old poor people, or old foreigners, or disabled, or there's a gfew that a re just crackheads too, but mostly it's old people.
In the building I'm working on a unit in right now, someone was taken out on Friday. All of the people who saw it are freaking out and spreading the news. Now literally everyone in our building is asking about it and we legally can't tell them anything.
And even better, the bosses think there's no reason to shut down anything nonessential. Rennovations are still on. All of their nursing homes and day cares closed down for their safety so they won't have any unnessesary contact since they're so high risk.
But here we are chugging away anyway, working on building projects and coming in and out of their buildings. In all seriousness, I am not concerned about getting sick. I am concnered about killing all of our clients. Pretty sure all the idiot bosses are hearing though is "I'm lazy and don't want to work and this is te perfect excuse!"
What blows my mind is that all my bosses are uper liberal and have spent the past few weeks on social media posting about how awesome all these other companies are for shutting down and how stupid Trump is for not shutting things down like China did. Now we have a request from the gov. to shut things down and we ignore it for profit.
Liberals are all a bunch of lying scum. They put forward a virtuous image and do everything they can to make people believe it, but when it comes right down to it, the liberal has no virtue.
Welp. More wortk for me. All 200 of our residents die because we contaminatedd them? That's 200 more units to redo. Hopefully we don't get sued.
I'm going to the main office in all my contaminated PPE to have a meeting with the CEO tomorrow.
Cooper Price
user, generally you want to do something before your healthcare system is overloaded and bodies are piling up in the street. Not afterwards
James Hall
>US traffic fatalities last year 1.25 million, or 3,400ish EVERY DAY
So every ~30 seconds there is a fatal crash in the US. Bullshit.
Caleb Young
The chinks had all their crematoriums going and bodies were still piling up in the streets. Of course they were lying.
Connor Harris
2000 dead where? Not in the US. 10000 dead in the US in a week would still be less than three days of car crashes. Nobody is hysterical about destroying cars. Also, your numbers are greatly inflated without proof. 80ish deaths in the US, nowhere near 2000. Where are all the bodies? Where are all the grieving relatives? Where are all the RIP Facebook and instagram posts? They don’t exist because barely anyone has died, and this virus has been here since at least November.
Jaxon Ward
>Liberals are all a bunch of lying scum. They put forward a virtuous image and do everything they can to make people believe it, but when it comes right down to it, the liberal has no virtue
People keep saying this like it changes anything. Multiply these numbers by 10, a 100 it doesn't make a difference because even if you did it would still be an incredibly small, insignificant number.
I travel for a living. I literally spend 90% of my time traveling around the country. I go to an international airport AT LEAST once a week and spend all my time in hotels, restaurants, and crowded job sites. I've been doing this for years. I also do not give a shit about corona and take almost no precautions.
I have not caught the corona virus.
Luis White
I'd like to take a moment to point out to any user with even an ounce of critical thinking ability that what we are witnessing here is exactly what we've been getting warnings about for our entire lives - civilisation becomes increasingly fragile over time the longer it goes without being shaken up, forced to adapt, or the longer it is pushed towards increasing efficiency at the expense (always, inherently) of resiliency. If it wasn't this pandemic something else would arrive later, and each time (like 2008) we overcome the current problem and persist with the system we're just making it that much worse in the long run. Look up Rasmussen's drift into danger concept if you want to understand why this is a fundamental truth. Take heed or don't, but you were warned. Many more times than just right now.
The math is simple. If coronavirus infects everybody in US, 200k to 700k people will die.
You can go for "herd inmunity" like the brits and keep on chugging, or you can try to avoid getting everybody infected.
With previous corona viruses the "avoid getting everybody infected" worked well, people where only infectious when showing symptoms and we were able to control it. The US is trying very hard to do the same to covid,
If everybody gets infected and 700k ppl die in the US, then we should have gone herd inmunity. If we get less than 1k cases then isolation worked.
Any number in between and we may have wrecked the economy too badly to make it worth it.
Kevin Turner
I’m neither edgy nor and uncle and I still don’t see the problem. It’s a “bad cold and flu season”. A slightly higher portion of the at-risk population (over 55 and existing health problems) will die than usual. So? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want anyone to die of the flu. But I still don’t see justification for this level of reaction. It would be far more practical to request vulnerable population to self-quarantine, rather than go full SHUT IT DOWN mode.
Angel Fisher
Where have bodies piled up in the streets? Nowhere, that’s where. There have been times during gang violence in LA gang banging heydays gone by that they had to put bodies in Burger King freezers. NOTHING like that is happening now and you know it. Where are the overloaded morgues? Where are the overloaded funeral homes? Nobody (relatively) is dying.
Wyatt Cruz
It is actually good that petrol prices drop. The oil industry doesn't deserve our money, their CEOs should be dead
Samuel Jones
You do understand, you just Wont admit it to yourself. Keep asking questions
Wyatt Thompson
seriously. i've literally had this stupid virus and it was nothing, i already feel well again. but the whole of everything is shutting down, stocks are retard tier low, whole world is going insane over it. i've never seen anything like this. every fucking year or 2 the media comes out with SARS, MERS, H1N1. why the hell are people still going full retard over this? the panic is making it 10000000x times worse. the media needs to face consequences for this, it's like shouting fire in a crowded theater. they cant get away with this. i'm so god damned mad right now.
Oliver Long
tRump and his people are preventing families from mourning by killing their closest relatives, all so he can be re-elected.
William Reed
The problem is NOT the number of deaths.
The problem is the number of "serious cases". These are not old guys, they are not people with pre existing conditions.
They are people of all ages that get pneumonia, and that have to go to the hospital and get on a ventilator/respirator/IV before they get better and go on their way.
If the number of critical cases is LESS than the number of hospital beds, no fucking problem. If it is MORE, like it is happening in Italy you start giving space to young guys and let the old ones die.
Eventually if we all get pneumonia at the same time they will have to make some hard choices
Brody Ward
Fuck off you literal knuckle dragging retard. We have no treatment, we have no vaccine. Our hospitals are going to get overloaded with inflected and our healthcare system is going to collapse. Remember your post here when you see bodies piling up in the street and the hallways of hospitals
Nobody is seriously suggesting that the numbers coming out of China are even close to accurate. For starters, they fit almost perfectly to a mathematically plotted S-curve. Reality simply doesn't work like that, but government propaganda numbers from a nation with a severely controlled populace does.
Second, the theories about this being a bio weapon or research virus accidentally released are not mere hokey conspiracy theories. Four of the five SARS outbreaks thst hsfe occurred were biosafety breaches. China's only BSL4 lab is located right at the epidemiological origin point of the outbreak. Repeated warnings were sounded prior to the launch of the lab (2017) that Chinese culture and government will not foster a suitable culture of safety and that breaches were inevitable. Based on all of this, most importantly what is being done versus what is being said, draw your own conclusion.
Josiah Russell
The main issue is that it doesn't seem like a "when" and more of an "if" situation.

When this is all over, there needs to be accountability for everyone who whipped up the panic.
Adrian Sanchez
Why are you attacking Trump?
Bentley Edwards
The worst scenario being projected is 50,000 deaths a day, through the entire month of July. That’s 50,000 US deaths a day. I honestly hope that happens so faggots like you can shut up about muh car crashes.
James Butler
I think I understand. Just not sure which is true, or is it all true? Slow boil of WWII. Population total control, slavery. Retard Q jibber jabber. Incoming asteroid/aliens, nobody panic.
Lucas Green
Thanks for the srs post
I still think you sound a bit tinfoil hat, but I guess we'll probably never find out.
Doesn't seem to be many people (Yas Forums aside) calling bullshit on the China figures though, which is sort of making me think you lads are overreacting
Colton Barnes
My mom works in a hospital in Ontario. She isn't worried about it, neither is my brother. Her and my Dad are both in the high risk category. I've been trying to warn her about it since it was first reported in China. I'm sad that they'll probably get it and my Dad, not being in the best of health and in his 70's will probably die because of it. I do what I can, I still keep trying to push the message through, but they just think I'm paranoid and misinformed.
So far the process is if you're sick or think you have it you fill out an online webform. If you meet the criteria you are phoned by Telehealth, after speaking to them they refer you to your doctor, who then refers you to get a test at the hospital. This whole process takes approximately 2 weeks. In terms of our healthcare system we're probably in the same ballpark as France and Italy. So if you look 14 days in the future that's probably where we're actually at in communal spread vs confirmed cases.
Likely, it's sadly going to take 200 people to die before people stop saying "it's just a flu bro" and "it doesn't effect young people". It's unfortunate that that is what it will take people stop laughing at people who are taking necessary precautions like wearing masks in public. By then it will be too late.
Dominic Collins
that's 1% of americans dying every year just to car crashes, isn't this fucking ridiculous? why would you ever choose to drive a car with these odds?
Ryan Cooper
>Where have bodies piled up in the streets?
Some of the videos that came out of China before they got a handle on information flow showed exactly that.
Jayden Garcia
oh it is global i thought i was having a fucking stroke for a second
It happened in China and it's starting to happen in Italy. You're just not paying attention
Kevin Harris
us doesn't test so doesn't know. post those stats in late june when US deaths tally 10 million with around 100 million infected and the hospital system has been flattened
I thought Macguiver would of made a homemade vaccine by now. Instead he doesn't know what's happening.
Isaac Green
First off, only 35k to 40k people die per year in the US in car crashes. That’s not 1%.
Ethan Phillips
Sane poster. I think it's just the decayed wits of people coupled with the grandest media scare, but it could just be the new age of information and preventative measures.

Pompeo slaps Governors publicly on China >youtube.com/watch?v=g1BbswU3i10 >archive.is/X5krk >“They’ve labeled each of you friendly, hardline or ambiguous,” he said, describing a report put out by the think tank last year. “I’ll let you decide where you think you belong. Someone in China already has. Many of you indeed, in the report are referenced by name.”
>Saying that China's efforts have become more methodical than ever,Pompeo told the governors to verify business inquiries and “not to make separate individual deals” with China that could “undermine national policy.”
