As an insider I can tell you, its a max of 100k standing military personnel in all 3 branches of the army.
Reserves dont cost a thing.

Most permanent personnel pours its own fucking money back into the army. I spend about 10% of my own wage every month for the needs of my soldiers and my own gear. Lots of reserves do it as well.

That's a myth, in the training operation, the F35 killed the enemy jets in 25 out of the 25 missions, they were far superior than any other jet.
