Seriously? You want to stock up as many cals as you possibly can. We‘re not going on a diet, we‘re going to war. You do not want aspartame, you want sugar for a quick energy source. But i agree that sirup, tee and things like this are very important. You‘ll need it to cover up the taste of disinfecting your water.

Its a deep freezer. I normaly look for good sales and stock in bulk for family. The pantry is filled too with staples, but with ready supply of meat no worries about nutrition, and its easy to keep things varied. Id recommend anyone to get a good deep freezer (small ones can be had second hand ultra cheap) to stock meat in buk on sale, and to freeze big batches of chili, stews, Etc.

I done fucked up. Prepped for a two week shut in period. Its only been 3 days and I've fucking eaten everything. I mean fucking everything too. I have maybe 1 ice cream left but it is at the back of the freezer and I can't reach that far.

This is a disease quarantine, not a hurricane. With electricity down, a generator running 6 hrs a day while monitoring the temperature can keep it cold enough to keep the meat, if its emptied of the frozen precooked stuff that can last a little while on its own.

Regardless, are you really expecting power to go out long term? It would take the kind of weather events that dont really become issues until fall.
