I just realized that most on this board are too young to remember 9/11 and don't realize that this is a much bigger happening.
Welcome to your first happening Zoomers.

Welcome to your first happening Zoomers.
I lived through 9/11. This is like .02% of the level of happening-ness that 9/11 was. NO comparison AT ALL.
This is like a snow day in grade school.
9/11 was like your house getting burned down while watching your mother get gang raped on the frontyard.
Snow day that's going to last a month kek
>he doesnt know
fool
Who is our president going to fake a pretext to go to war with?
Thank you for the de rigueur reddit tier meme with movie quotes, you flaming faggot.
Nah, this is like the DC sniper days. You never know when the Coronavirus is gonna hit you. So you mostly stay inside, you go out as little as possible, you order-in food at higher prices paying for people to risk getting it when they deliver your food. And you’re wary when out, you look over you’re filling up gas, when you’re in the grocery store parking lot, etc, cause Coronavirus or the Dc sniper will get you.
This is somewhere above Dorner and below 9/11
If things haven’t got better in a month it will have exceeded 9/11, though
Only like 3000 people died you retard.
America literally kills more innocent people through collateral damage in a week.
serious question why was swine flu and sars not as a big deal
I dunno, I literally saw the twin towers fall in NYC and this happening seems much scarier to me.
Swine flu was the flu. SARS was a very big deal, but it was stopped.
dorner wasn't even the biggest event of that year lol
I remember the DC sniper days, me and classmates making jokes about getting sniped in random situations.
How long until the
>shtf will never happen
retard posts start up again?
This. 9/11 was like a genuine punch in the gut, this is just irritating. The real test will be how many people remember this in 20 years. We still constantly talk about 9/11, it still impacts the world we live in today. How many people remember Swine Flu (2009)? Almost nobody.
>irritating
yes, that's the word I would use to convey my feeling.
It was but it never spread like this.
lmao I remember the time we enacted marshal law because of 9/11
I just realized that you're sixteen and think this is interesting. If 9/11 defines you, you need to fucking die. You're already dead. You died a decade ago. Everyone else hasn't forgotten, but they've grown. Grow the fuck up. Move on. Or fuck off dipshit.
this seriously is not that big of a happening, its just a bunch of waiting around
Exactly. Anyone that lived through 9/11 knows this shit is child's play compared to what that experience was like.
Fuck off kike. You weren't scared of the towers because you knew your friends Shlomo and Moshe were the one's doing it.
is everything okay user?
But those are irrelevant people who need to be depopulated, anyway.
OP is correct. This is going to be much bigger. Can't you feel the energy boiling? It's almost unbearable for those who can.
You obviously didn't live through 9/11 if you think that.. this is the same vibe but across the entire fucking planet and it gets just a little worse every day
No that's just your AIDS flaring up
LOL what, no it was terrifying, but you knew what was going on. It was like, oh, a plane crashed into the building. Then it was like, oh, someone crashed two planes into them on purpose.
This virus is like, 5% of America can die in the next month, and stores are empty, and all commerce in America is grinding to a halt, while the dollar collapses. Sort of surreal.
That's a combination of you being bored and being easily influenced by media hype.
Yeah I'm lying about my age faggot to prove you wrong. I was 17 during 9/11. Remember it vividly. That was much worse than this. Reality > your gay vibes
9/11 was an all at once happening and we were so blind with rage at the time no one was dwelling on the ramifications people just wanted revenge.
This happening has a much more eerie feeling and there are other smaller happening events going on around it.
Ok but nobody knew after the planes that would be the end of it. You forget how everyone in America thought there were terrorists lurking around every corner and people were scared shitless of more attacks.
I'd say 3,000 Americans being incinerated in the collapse of two skyscrapers is pretty fucking errie
hm, no I mean like, after the pentagon, and the field in Pennsylvania, the news made it seem like a terrorist cell, and the world was used to terrorist cells in 2001... so it was like, okay, that wasn't a missile from a Russian battleship or something.
Just saying... People did get back on with their lives after a few months. This? Let's see if people ever get back on with their lives.
I was in high.school computer class during 9/11. is most of Yas Forums really this young..am i old??
Grow up already.
I would argue that's exactly what made it worse. If Russia attacked us it would be straightforward and we would know exactly where we stood and what was about to go down. Terrorists fight like cowards and the people had no idea where the next hypothetical attack was gonna be.
I remember 9/11. I got bullied because some people did something. Speak out against bullying!!
yes
it's how and why they died, not the number. You know this.
okay but like, there was never really this threat that 5% or more of America was going to die painfully of ARDS from highly contagious SARS and maybe everyone in America will get it over the year.
And 9/11 didn't even kill any decent Americans. Just a bunch of new Yorkers and feds.
Piss off goat fucker
its just a snowy day
then it snows more and more
and then your whole school is buried in snow
and people are trapped under the buildings, but the snow just doesn't stop falling, it just keeps snowing faster and faster.
911 was the last true happening. It was s satanic ritual that has put us in our current state.
9/11 didnt shut down my country for months
I protect my goats, bigot!
You can only say that now in hindsight. At the time you didn't know what the total death toll was going to be and when you acknowledge all the Americans that gave their lives in the resulting bullshit wars the body count is substantial.
I remember 9/11 but I was only 11 years old. Didn't even get a day off of school where I lived. Sure people probably panicked near new york but here in the midwest life mostly went on as usual from what I recall. This virus is effecting everyone.
False. This is already waaaay more disruptive to our day-to-day lives than 9/11 was, unless maybe you lived around NY.
And I’m pretty the virus is just the appetizer… the financial fallout of this will be the real happening.
watching the Dow go down 3,000 points, after 2,400 points... drop after drop... sorry, it's unreal.
Shut up leaf. 9/11 didn't effect maple syrup production and nobody was counting on cuck Canada and your three tanks and two planes your military consists of
I was 14 in 9/11, I showed up late to school because I'd overslept, and was had to go to the administrator's office to report in, and was expecting them to chew me out. Instead they just said "It's no biggie, user, just head onto your second period class. Don't worry about it." I walked into Intensive Reading class and saw they had wheeled the big TV to the front of the room, and watched the second tower get hit, live.
This is...at least as big as 9/11. We just haven't all realized it yet. The long asymptomatic period, the lack of tests, the sloth of government response time, the way the pandemic is going to be propagated by wagies who don't have sick days, let alone paid sick days that let them keep paying their rent, or healthcare to see a doctor, it's going to lead to a lot more fatalities than the twin towers falling did. 9/11 made us stop and reassess our invulnerability to foreign enemies. This shit, by the time the death toll is all tabulated, is going to make us stop and reassess Capitalism itself.
9/11 shut down the airports. This had made us shut down schools, every sports league, and will eventually shut down the airports as well. It's going to be way bigger. Mark my words.
'93 user here. 9/11 was 100000000% a bigger happening than this. this isn't political for the most part. sure people are fired up over the seeming ineptitude of certain governments but the small number of deaths and lack of political motivation for the virus makes this far less taxing on the collective psyche. 9/11 was F U C K E D. it completely shook our conception of reality and shifted our frame of reference of what was possible.
we've all seen disaster movies before. no one could even conceptualise 9/11. then the invasion started and things were over in earnest. also patriot act. shiver can't believe we're living in the absolute most shit timeline wow
zoomie's first happenin'
On 9/11 most of us thought it was possible that nukes would fly. That's the only day of my life I have legitimately felt like nukes could be used.
I don't remember ever conceiving a reality where all travel and commerce would be shut down and people would be outside in full hazmat suits...
Ok relax burger, I’m just saying the entire economy didn’t grind to a halt and people weren’t forced to stay inside for an indefinite amount of time. I remember that day well, it’s not like the border means we don’t give a shit what goes on in the US.
Also, don’t disrespect the many Canadians who went to war for you guys after that.
>americans still thinking the whole world is america
9/11 might have been bad and had worldwide consequences, but this is much MUCH bigger because it is everywhere without exception.
Not realizing is still substantially higher than after the housing bubble collapsed ? The Dow was at 7,949.09 on Jan 20th, 2009 when Obama took office. Today it closed at 20,188.52. Can you guys do math or can the media talk you out of that too ?
