it didn't

FPBP and /thread

It's still not back to normal

Seconding this, dont even remember it happening

It never did kid

These

They all supported the Iraq war with an 80 percent approval rate as revenge.

And then in a few years they pretended they never supported it and make up theories about how rich people or oil or Israel made them do it. (It never would have happened without massive approval)

Hahahahaha it didn’t

>back to normal
America's a long place away from normal.

Attached: WouldYouLookAtThat.gif (238x211, 575.9K)

This will never happen again.

It hasnt. 9 / 11 was when our nation lost cohesiveness and unity. It's when all the cap about mudslimes3 have religion of peace stsrted. It's when all the import 3rd world erst started. Even for a while after 9/11 chuck schumer and Pelosi and Clinton and even obongo were totally against illegals coming in and h1b Indian visas. Not anymore now we're an economic zone

avg life/lifestyle.........about a week.

This. You never used to get molested by the TSA until 9/11.

f p b p

After WWII you mean.

You're an idiot

Another zoomer here, what was pre 9/11 America like?

painfully true. I miss it so much. you zoomers have no idea.

36 year old oldfag here. It still hasn’t.

post 9/11 world is a hellscape. nothing was the same again. the clouds of doom began forming then and the sadness creeped ever darker on the faces of everyone you see.

Yep

succinct and accurate

Yup

>normal
Kek, we never really got back to "normal".

This. Things will never be the same because of 9/11

watch a 90s rom-com. it was that. sure things were kinda messy and not perfect in the slightest but people were not as cynical and disaffected and hateful the same way they are now. none of this seemingly irreconcilable division. none of this vitriolic antagonisation that we bear the brunt of on a day to day basis. i'm only 27 lol but that's the way i see it. gen x fags feel free to correct me if i'm wrong

It never did. 9/11 was a world changing event. This is another one. Just imagine in ten years thinking about the good old days of 2019.
We're fucked, again.

Tell me how I'm wrong pussy

it was painful to read so much lunacy in one post

Fpbp
The shock of it all took a month or two but we've never returned to 9/10/01 America normal.

It was great, honestly. 9/11 changed everything for the worse. Literally nothing is better today than 9/10/01

This. I'll admit I was part of the majority on this country that was (and still is) blood thirsty over 9/11. While I used to hate the sandniggers because of 9/11, today I hate them because our leaders opened the gates to let them in.

>it didn't
This. America stayed terrible forever after.

we never did. I didn't used to have to take off damn near everything im wearing and run my shoes through a metal detector before 9/11. Shit was way less annoying before that and we could go in more places less harassed and everyone wasn't paranoid about everything

It’s still not back to normal, but people are such fucking pussies now. I was in college and we all kept going to classes, and accommodations quietly made for students who had lost family or friends. Being a crybaby was seen as weak and a disgusting bid for attention.

Not perfect, but it felt inevitable that things would get sorted out over time, since history was over.

How do you think the world landscape will change after coronavirus?

Fucking nice. Before 9/11 were pissed off at the govt, but it was unified, left and right. America was more white by far compared to today, and white nationalists causes were blatant and not as vilified as today. 9/11 fucked us. Globalization won.

This. Some events cause permanent change.

Nice

Never.

Kinda boring
The food wasn't as good.
The people were dumber.
The world events after 1991 weren't as dramatic... just some peacekeeping operations, WTO protests were kinda interesting I guess.
My city wasn't gentrified, houses were affordable

fpbp

The world did end in 2000.

GenX here. You are pretty much right. The Al Sharpton's of the world were seen as nut jobs not political leaders. All this multiculturalism shit was confined to a few academic papers no one gave a shit about. Everyone was happier. There was still a sense of hope, and if you worked hard enough, you would make it.

Best case scenario: Things chill after a while but people have better hygiene practices

Worst case scenario: Coronavirus ravages much, but the real damage is from extreme economic hardships. Everywhere is kind of like former USSR states after the fall of the USSR, just bleak but not Somalia tier

Pretty much the day old America died.
t. born in '77

Tokyo manages to rebuild every time Godzilla stomps on it.

IT
NEVER
DID.

America was permanently changed after 911.....

Not much changed to anyone incapable of noticing things, the only changes were behind the scenes where there was suddenly no resistance to the building up of the infrastructure of a turn key totalitarian world government. That key is just now about to be turned and people are finally beginning to take notice.

Heaven.

>fighting Israel's wars
>expanding the surveillance state
>wallstreet intentionally causing crashes
>millions of working class can't afford health insurance and get laid off from jobs moving overseas
>back to normal
the US has always been utter shit hell on fucking earth

>back to normal after 9/11?

It hasnt and this event will only make it worse get ready for new stricter regulation's "For your own safety" Im glad that I wont make it, but if I do and my family doesnt this world is forfeit and I'll go out taking as many asshole elites bloodline as I can, They only care about their bloodline thats the only way to make them pay.
"in mind craft of course"

Zoomers should just watch this. Long before 'social distancing' was ever a concept, before people were scared all the time, completely immersed in media and the 24 hour news cycle. This is pre-9/11 America.

youtube.com/watch?v=RYbe-35_BaA

less paranoid

I'm 30. It never returned to normal and never will. It literally can't now with demographic and technological changes.

6-8 years. But we had Iraq to deal with. Hundreds of people dying by bombs and beheadings every week. This is a correction in the markets (shit was way too high) and a nasty chink virus. Nothing changes

It never did.

B4 911 I flew all over the country with my swiss army knife in my pocket.
I would go to the metal detector throw it in the basket walk through and put it back in my pocket.
Until I can do this again it will never be normal.

Also FPBP

Before 9/11 we would worry our houses were bugged. 36yo fag here

Damn, people seem so much more at ease and not distant from each other. Makes me wonder what I’ve missed out on

>no TSA patdowns or scanners
>could literally get to your gate from check in within 15 minutes
>smoking allowed in bars and restaurants
>Dennys served beer
>Simpsons was great, MTV was actually good
>kids actually went outside
>political correctness was gay and made fun of
>Internet was actually free

Government always ruins a good thing

Attached: 1552968570165.jpg (750x738, 55.26K)

It still hasn't

Back to normal haha you're funny

Total fucking idiot.

Watch Home Improvement, that was what America was like.

What cohesive and unity. It’s the same old shit different decade.

That's why they did it. To get the approval and flag waving for war. Dov zakheim wrote about this year's before it happened
