I really don't understand how this isn't common as all fuck. Imagine getting sentenced to 30 years on some bullshit non-murder charge and not saying "fuck it your coming with me". That said, a quick search on Charlie Smith doesn't turn up much. I don't know what he did in his service to the illegal regime. So while my gut reaction is that all judges who aren't open White nationalists deserve to be shot, some deserve to be shot less than others.

No. Journalists go FIRST on DOTR, that doesn't mean they have a higher score, it's just for practical reasons like accessibility(local news crews) and emotional/propaganda value(this is the face of the enemy, so smash it right away). You won't have the chance. Immediately as the judge finishes saying that the bailiff is going to take you out of the court room and you'll be processed and shipped to prison. You'll be in chains.
There's not really a good window for taking revenge against a judge in these kinds of situations. If you're going to trial, you're hoping that you win your case so you're not going to kill the judge and fuck yourself. And if you take a plea deal, then you found the plea deal agreeable so are satisfied with it, and if the judge decides the plea deal isn't enough and wants to punish you further, again, you'll be escorted out of the courtroom in chains and processed for prison. Most people don't give up hope so easily. They'll have hope right up to sentencing and then, it's too late to decide "well fuck everything, I'm taking them with me".
Family courts are an entirely different beasts though. It's relatively common for family court judges to get killed.
