wrong, there are tons of blacks, mexicans, and homeless in central san diego. i've lived there for 10 years. best places in SD right now are north county, everything north of La Jolla, all the wealthy places. but of course the groids know that so after they loot their own areas they'll head north. if you have enough for multiple weeks of hotel stay, check out that whole area between Lake Elsinore and Temecula, next to the 15 fwy. not as densely populated as LA and SD.
