Do you have any idea how long it takes to run these trials? It's way more important to put resources toward developing a vaccine, not a treatment which will very likely turn out to be ineffective.

Riddle me this: if there were indeed a cure for Coronavirus, and thus, most likely, for the common cold and maybe even the flu.... would there be more money in eradicating it, or in merely selling annual treatment of the symptoms for its near-inevitable, annual recurrence?
