ITT: REALISTIC TAKES, NO HYSTERIA

What do you think is going to realistically happen with the coronavirus and society at large?
>national lockdown
>various new ways of distributing food and other goods
>super markets and hospitals will be the only two places people will inhabit during a certain time frame ie lockdown
>over 100-150 million people in the United States will contract it
>national guard everywhere
>civil unrest
>martial law

Everything will be back to normal within two months tops. The only people at any serious risk are boomers or people who are too old to be of any use to society anymore. Remember that it's NEVER a happening

Attached: 1582303663891.png (1447x773, 159.28K)

It's gonna blow over in a couple of weeks thanks to Farr's law. It's already close to peak.
elizabethjnickson.com/2020/03/09/i-am-so-bored-with-panics/

You think huh and what law?

I'm bullish.

I heard some doc on cnn say it would take 12-18 months to approve a vaccine

Society will not fall apart that's for sure.

Honestly at worst a few million people will die. Maybe a couple waves of Corona-chan drunk dialing and the immediate response will be more total lockdowns to inhibit carrier movement while cases run through. If we dont abandon treatment research like we did SARS1 we may have slam dunk treatment breakthroughs in a year or two. This'll be our generations polio.

Attached: 1581015540478.jpg (761x563, 33.82K)

In one month or two everything will be normal again. Some old guys will die and economy will be kind of fucked, but not much else. We barely will get to a million infected

This. It will only have a mild effect on the US economy. The main goal of this exercise is to move us toward a greater level of control from above.

>increased awareness and racism towards chinese
>strong nationalist surge
>new legislation to shut border
>surge in new businesses due to cheap lending
>drop in house price and general recession
>world deaths 315000 or so once it booms in 3rd world and Russia
>New strain emerges in 2025

Attached: 1583647121329.jpg (1260x1465, 771.61K)

there will be no lock down.
Its Constitutionally illegal on pain of death.
You may not inhibit the people and their right to travel unmolested

Absolutely retarded post

So far the exercise has been fabulously successful. They want to let it run its course for a month or so to evaluate the effects. But everything is working great. The propaganda has all kicked in, everybody’s saying the same thing in unison. Masses of people are behaving like the models predicted. In addition to testing out all the propaganda machinery to make sure everyone responds appropriately they want to normalize people being indoors and atomized. They want people to start getting used to the idea of being segregated from other people and not being in large groups which can be a source of trouble for the controllers. Between all of the seductive ways that people are lured to stay home, with the conveniences and being catered to hand and foot, the goal is to move people towards being in cocoons. Once everyone’s cocooned and hooked up to the global propaganda system then they can start being fed new ideology and controlled on an even greater level. Thank of hundreds of millions of prisoners in their comfortable level cells that are completely dependent on the system for their comfort and survival. These prisoners have their escapist outlets to live out their fantasies of rebellion and fighting, but with no real threat to the controllers.

>what will realistically happen
You basically nailed it on the head bud. Most aspects of our society and the world at large changed when this disease escaped the control of the Chinese Government, who, primarily by exceptional incompetence and mismanagement, created a global catastrophe.
Unfortunately, the world has changed, but people are still catching up to the shock of it. It’s prjbanly better this way, because all the shock at once might have led to a big breakdown in society.

Pretty soon, as in by the end of this month, nobody in the world will be left saying “it’s a hoax bro” or “this is overblown” or “it’s not happening”.

Godspeed user, and don’t ever forget that chinese government is completely and unequivocally responsible for this global disaster.

National lockdown becomes the new normal over the next year until the virus can be stopped or the health infrastructure can be more equipt to handle this, whatever comes first.

VR will boom, major economic reform, the world will be a different place as boomer heads of state die.

Nationalism becomes more popular but it's leftist nationalism, demographic shift was speed up by the the boomer plague.

Expect to see a total political shift even if Biden wins (doubtful). A lot of old guard for both parties will die off in the next 4 years, leaving leftist nationalism of the new left as the new democratic party and national socialism fully becomes the Republican party.

Attached: image:15917.jpg (736x998, 67.74K)

It's just starting in the US. I know a bunch of people in Vegas are getting laid off and are going on unemployment, not sure if the state is prepared for that sort of wave. Then there's all the stores getting cleared out and what not. It's clearly having a palpable effect on a lot of people but I can't say just how far it'll go, sit back and watch the fireworks I guess.

GWEEN TEA

This is the end of globalism as we know it. This is the end of society as we know it. We are in the early phase of a worldwide paradigm shift. Pandora's box is open, prepare yourself accordingly

>Nationalism becomes more popular but it's leftist nationalism, demographic shift was speed up by the the boomer plague
White Juche huh? This will help some normies understand why planned economics is superior to profit driven neoliberal capitalism...I hope...

Expand on this it's too vague.

uh. ok. explain the news in the last few hours then about lockdowns in major cities.

i c wut u did thar

>lives in a parallel world where no vaccines exist

Then we will start to build bridges again, just like Kojima told us

Check you balls daily.
Get lesions
Get infertile.

Honestly it sounds based because if the two parties are both nationalist then we'll get the best of both worlds.

Truly a centrists wet dream.

>closing down some bars is the same thing as restricting movement

We're 100% fucked. No chance for survival. Best we can do now is jerk off until kung flu gets us

Sadly i only have blackpills
The rich will become richer
The poor will become poorer
There might be some wars, so (((they))) don't lose their influence
Probable death of fiat currency (good) or worst case cenario, a single currency will take place.

You said no hysteria while describing hysterical fantasies.

Positive Regime change starting in the United States.
A steady redistribution of the elite's slush fund will be used to re-stimulate a new economic model that will be kicked off by local communities rebuilding themselves.
Eventually, an introduction of new megaprojects like NAWAPA, orbital ring space elevators ect will be introduced.
At some point, I'm expecting a new figure, somebody that nobody in the regular public knows, will be giving a JFK-tier x1000 speech that will offer soft disclosure regarding the menace that has been plaguing our civilization for the longest time. And a human liberation movement will begin here, and emanate outward around the global as their network is eradicated.
The emphasis on material wealth will diminish, as once expensive goods become affordable and scarcity of most goods becomes a thing of the past.
I see this moment as a turning point; a hard reset on a failing regime that's tentacles were in everything; and the introduction of a new and righteous one.

You're an absolute retard if you think this will only hurt or kill old people. The fucking NBA shut down, MGM resorts shut down. They didn't do that because they give af about boomer lives or even your shitty life faggot.

Attached: FB_IMG_1584324457662.jpg (709x720, 59.61K)

The virus probably wont do much ... realistically the economy will suffer which means life will be pretty shitty but we will continue and grind like we did it in 2008

LOL I read less lofty wishful thinking about 2012.

Whats ironic is the cases of pepsi and shit dumb asses are piling into walmart to get are way more likely to lead to their death than the virus. Anyways if there is an actual plan behind this shit, id imagine with the lock downs they might start incentivizing people that get rid of their guns willingly, like more supplies/food rationing. So many people are going to lose jobs and houses/businesses because of this over reaction. The dangerous part isn't the virus, it's what happens now all these people aren't staying busy at work all day.

Everyday it seems another step is taken that seemed remotely possible a week ago. Now, schools closed for a month, restaurants bars and theaters closed. Can travel restrictions and city/town quarantines be far off? I don’t think it’s the end times, but we aren’t far from shit going sideways.

This isnt a nothing burger. Coronachan is exposing the fragility of our current system. A "flu" has the world economy on its knees. People will take notice hence, the system will change. Globalism has met is match.

social credit system for anyone whose infected, no symptoms, and endangers others by improper socializing/lack of social distancing

What i mean by "the end of society as we know it" is not some sort of disastrous apocalyptic event. Its a shift, a societal shift. Towards what you may ask, i do not know. What i do know is that things will change, fast.

Remember to spit on doorknobs.
Nurgle Is Love.

This seems the most logical, so far.

If Kojima a prophet?

Emergency Management user here based on what i know:

>There's been active cases in the thousands in the US since December. Remember, this started in China around Halloween. During October-February there was 5,000-7,000 people transiting to/from China and the US Daily. All the talk around Christmas of "a bad flu season" and the spike in elderly people dying of Pneumonia was already COVID.

>Border restrictions did a little good but came far too late. Trump was being fed shit by the leftists at the CDC early on and was set up to fail. The IC finally painted him a proper picture.

>Bars, Restaurants, retail, entertainment, etc venues will be closed at least until April by my guess. Restaurants will still be allowed to do delivery/takeout since this limits person-person contact. This should allow them to stay minimally in business and staffed.

>Grocery stores will remain open and stocked (once the panic buying dies down) though many will likely revert to a curbside pickup model or limit the number of customers in the store at a time.

>Internet, electric, water, gas are viewed as critical infrastructure and will not be allowed to go down even it means deployment of DoD assets to ensure their continuity.

>Hospitals will be overwhelmed. The intent going forward is going to be to set up field hospitals in local areas and divert COVID cases that require hospital level care to field hospitals in an effort to keep acute care facilities "clean" so they can continue to care for "normal" emergencies. Elective procedures will be cancelled for a while.

>Police, Fire, EMS, Sanitation will continue to function but could be minimal as they're expecting up to 40% absenteeism, higher for EMS.

>DoD will rapidly ramp up it's involvement.

I'd expect around ~20,000 dead in the US, of that probably 15-18,000 will be over 70. This has a potential to do serious damage to the Nursing Home / Long Term Care industry.

>This is the end of globalism as we know it.
As we know it, perhaps. Not in any other sense. This is going to demand that all countries adopt the same measures in case of another attack. It will also most likely be viewed as a "global crisis" we "survived together" (those that don't die). Countries will be less individualized after and because of this. It will be "nationalism redeemed" which is a kind of shared global identity. Citizens of the world first, citizens of where you live secondary.

Attached: theosophy and nationalism.png (490x271, 110.43K)

Litigious society. Easier and cheaper to shut down amidst the bullshit.

Also this. Globalist Liberalism constructed a world order that was a house of cards.

Politically this is going to lead to a massive resurgence of Nationalism, and economically, it's going to see alot of jobs coming back to the US that went overseas.

this seems likely. i don't see this as the end of the world just yet. but a major shakeup nonetheless

youtu.be/ET5F-XahpQo

I expected the game to be part of social conditioning/predicative programming but never imagined to this extent.

My god you’re retarded. They shut everything down to contain it retard. Fact remains more people recovered from it than died from it

Except NEETs are the most sheltered people around and they're the ones asking the most questions and have the most skepticism toward the controllers. People who do nothing but work and go out and inhale social media during any downtime are the ones most willing to submit and helping inflict social shame on those who won't. Wouldn't forcibly turning them into NEETs cause a good number of them to (eventually) change their tune and have their worldview match ours?

If any country trusts the Chinese after this, they are retarded. If anything every country will see how incompetent they are

>What do you think is going to realistically happen with the coronavirus and society at large?
Globalism as we know it will die.
>no consumerism
>no open borders
>no extreme dependence on imports
>production of important products will become mostly local, once again
>boomers & obese fucks will die out
>recession will kill all fake markets
it's gonna be glorious, Anons. All we have to do it survive the first few months of this crisis.

>National lockdown
Doubtful
>State lockdowns
Guaranteed
>Various new ways
They exist, they'll just really skyrocket and take off. This'll pretty much be the major normalization (a'la uber/lyft) of grocery delivery. Amazon et al will make a fucking killing of profits.
>Supermarkets
Some kind of inhibiting to access to it. Say, every other day, efforts to avoid them being too crowded.
>Numbers
Not sure
>Nat Guard
Not 'everywhere' but will be out in force in certain areas.
>Civil unrest
Yes
>Martial law
Probably limited to specific hotspot locations.

It won't be nice, but the spread out nature of the US and use of cars (outside of NYC and the like) may reduce spread. We're sitll going to get some rough times.

Don’t know about your numbers, but this is all legit.

Post liberalism, post capitalism is near is what you're saying? Honestly man this could be a bio weapon to implement insane changes..that only benefit the ones in charge or am I going to far? Will see how it plays out. Wish you all good health!

Attached: IMG_20191103_000446.jpg (2048x2048, 174.39K)

>As we know it, perhaps. Not in any other sense

Of course, covid-19 wont send us back to the middle ages. But it will mark a turning point. Globalism as we know it, an ever more interconnected world where freedom of goods, services and people is the norm, will change. Our society will change. history is a succession of paradigm shifts and this is ours. Example: the discovery of america was a paradigm shift. For the europeans it meant that the world was far greater than they thought it to be. For the natives, it meant the end of their civilization as they knew it. This time, we as an interconnected global community, are facing such a shift. I dont know whats going to happen. Only that this is not something thwt we can rub off, "in two months everyone will forget about it". No, they wont.

>It won't be nice, but the spread out nature of the US and use of cars (outside of NYC and the like) may reduce spread. We're sitll going to get some rough times.

A city like New York is alway fucked when disasters hit. It's so congested

This is it. It's just going to be like this now forever. That's what happened after 9/11 or WWII or anything. It doesn't go back.

Good write up. When are you expecting a vaccine? Why are some people adamant it will take a year?

Attached: 1582602804189.jpg (573x573, 54.34K)

Probably, did marx not say that societal structures would come and go?Feudalism then capitalism then communism??. I like your definition, post capitalist. It looks like it, just look at the markets as an indicative, theyre in free fall. Where this is going i do not know for sure. But, it will be a post something thats for sure.
Wishing you good health as well

if there is a serious pandemic it is created through artificial means.

That may happen but I can not say whether it will. I am surprised this happened at all.

I agree. Some people might tell themselves that everything is back to normal in a year or two but the more conscious and aware people will realize things aren't ever going to be the same. The ripple effects will continue and become more obvious over time.

Like this guy says.

How well are Americans going to react if they get put under forced quarantine like the Chinese?

It's been like 15 years since SARS first emerged and they still haven't found an effective vaccine for it.
I wonder if the same thing will happen with coronachan
I think things will improve by summer. Next winter we might get hit worse if it proves to be endemic.
For the world, either we recognize that globalism makes this kind of thing inevitable and the world becomes more closed off and nativistic or...I don't know. General communist takeover?
I can't think that things will just continue the way they have been. This is probably the most significant world event since the Cuban Missile Crisis, if not World War II. Things will have to change from this.

Real redpill here

This isn't a bioweapon, China is however using it to make themselves look better on the world stage, world leaders are panicking because it's actually much deadlier than we've been told and Italy is starting to reflect that.

No one is really prepared and this is the straw that may have broken the camel's back.

Exactly. This isnt the "end" its the start of something new. This could go well, or it can go not so well. Only time will tell.

Marx's historical materialism is about that. After capitalism it will be socialism/communism.
