Powerful war imagery

How does this image make you feel Yas Forums?

I'm fine with rekt and all sorts of shit but this picture has always left me in awe.

There's a soldier on the left, absolutely committed to murdering the person in front of him.
There's a mother on the left, very much aware she's going to die, infact she must know that shielding her child is futile but she's doing it anyway,
And then there's a child, most likely just terrified and confused.
To top it all off, its set in the backdrop of a perfectly flat plain. The scenery provides no sympathy for the situation, and in that sense it makes it seem that what's happening in the image is completely endogenous to the actors within. These are their actions, and theirs alone. (Although the uncropped photo has more dead bodies).

What do you think it would be like to see this picture, without knowing any context (nazis, jews, anything)

It's a bad shop too, the woman and child appear several feet closer to the camera than the soldier. Doesn't look like the gun lines up with the back of the woman's head.

Hes not even aiming at her, only brainlets fall for this jewish lie

what?

Yup, it's called photo brushing, the Soviets used it in the 30s
