My Kroger in Memphis was out of ground beef. I almost bought ground lamb ($8.99 for 1lb) but decided on some ground chorizo instead since my recipe is thankfully flexible for the ground meat used. Most of the meat was wiped out except for some steaks, sausages and misc meats. The veggies were about half gone. There were no onions other than pre-peeled white onions that were $2.89lb and since I needed an onion I bought a small one (still came out to about $1.50). Other wise I didn't have much trouble buying stuff. There was pasta but most of the store brand stuff was gone so I had to pay an extra 30 cents for Barilla. Basically if you're poor this situation is probably shit but if you have money it's more annoying that you have to buy slightly more expensive stuff.

It's not just paper products. Basically everything Americans eat on a daily basis, with the exception of things like beef and rice, are produced domestically. So all the food hoarders are dumb too. Stores will be restocked like nothing ever happened.

This was like 3+ days ago in Florida Jacksonville area.

There’s a reason I bought long shelf life stuff that expires in October like pasta, rice, progreso, Kraft Mac n cheese, Betty Crocker mashed potatoes, peanut butter, frozen pizzas, frozen wings, tortillas.
