First of, its not a “hate” website
Some people express views that are not politically correct but that is a term recently developed as an umbrella for everything, which is not mainstream approved. So we can discuss that part.
Second, desu is hurting only if the person is not capable of processing what is intentional desu and what is a brainstorming about various topics with an open mind. Example: Pedosta. The first amendment exists for the rights of those expressing the most unpopular/distasteful speech. Why would anyone need to create a right for popular speech as it's already in common use?

Not to mention, when you give government authority to dictate what is and isn't hateful and to then ban what is and isn't hateful you are giving that much more authority to government. What if in some future case someone awful becomes becomes president and decides any speech against him is classified as hate speech and becomes a crime? What then? You just relinquishes this person power because you thought it was always going to work in your favor and in good faith when you didn't consider anything to the contrary.
