The only response to this pandemic is what China did: full blown lockdowns. Trump didn't do that on day one. It's day n now and he hasn't done that yet. We already have way more cases than Wuhan did when it was put on lockdown. It's already too late, even if he did impose lockdowns immediately, we're all still gonna die, because we don't have enough respirators for so many people to get infected simultaneously, and this thing grows exponentially. Trump fucked this one up badly because he cared more about the stock market. Travel bans don't make much of a difference. Italy also had travel bans, it was the first country to implement them actually. Look at where they are now, nearing 10% death rates. COVID-19 is actually SAVING lives:
