I have a question for people who understand economics.
I once read about abortion in the Soviet union. Lenin said that women should have the access to abortion, because they can get back to work faster, instead of taking care of a baby. Therefore not slow down the economy of the union.

But by that logic, wouldn't it be better to have women not working and just giving birth? If a working class family can raise 3 kids in the Soviet union, wouldn't it be better not to allow women to work, so they can give birth to 6 babies? Now there are more people and more working hands. Wouldn't it become better economically?
