In the framework of the precautionary measures taken by the state to deal with the Coronavirus, President Bashar al-Assad on Saturday issued the decree no. 86 for the year 2020 stipulating for delaying the elections of the people’s Assembly for the 3rd legislative term scheduled on April 13, 2020 in accordance with the decree No 76 for 2020.
The new date for the elections will be on May 20, 2020.

Houthis have anti-ship missiles and radar. There are clashes at Hodeidah, but infighting within the Arab Coalition is preventing an offensive, as well as the Stockholm Agreement presided over by the UN which brought most fighting around Hodeidah to a halt. Despite that, Houthi snipers are still exchanging fire and targeting officers, which are responded to with artillery strikes. There is more activity on the Marib front than the coast. The coastal offensive also relied on the Southern Giants brigade that fell back to Aden and other STC zones after the clash with Hadi's Islah Party allies, who are headquartered in Marib.
