Supermarket field report: Orange County, California

I went out at 2pm on Saturday to buy some food and ran into empty shelves: produce, bread, pasta, canned goods, water, milk, poultry, beef, toilet paper, laundry detergents, etc.

Post your pics

Why do you idiots always post sideways pictures?

Because I am not a selfie faggit like you. I have more pics but pol has 4MB file size limit baka senpai

you burgers and your floor shelves

Southeastern US, fresh meat section, bread, tp and cleaning supplies are wiped out at the 2 stores i shopped at today.

This was Duarte California at 6am.

Looks like the panic is real.

Today was the first day we had empty shelves. It is a saturday, heavy shopping day, hopefully everybody gets what they need and there wont be much hoarding. Nobody was wearing masks.

People waited until payday to prep. I saw pics from a Ralphs in Uppland with empty shelves.

Empty produce, cleaning, frozen, and bread sections. Boomers coofing all over the store. Indiana.

Coof Mart Employee here. 7AM was when the rush started. If you want to check out at ALL, buy between 1AM & 4AM. The lines are gonna be too long even for self checkout after that.

Next week it will be back to normal. People are truly idiots.

Hit up Dollar tree, target, and Aldi in Hawthorne and Gardena, CA yesterday. Almost everything cleaned out. Target still had doggo food tho.

No pics, but my Winco in S. Salem Oregon was decimated today. Like empty, of all food, and shoppers. Nothing to buy.

>Next week it will be back to normal
You wish. The biggest story monday morning will be how there's no food in stock anywhere causing a second wave of panic buying that's even stronger this one.
>Hit up Dollar tree
This. Smaller places are going to have the best deals. Everyone's going to walmart.

We thank the kikes there are so many brain dead slaves with thousands of extra fiats per capita to blow away at the merchants fear mongering beckoning - the stock market and wall street thanks all the tards with too many credit cards.

This should be a general. Even people in my own town had no idea what started happening late last night/early morning. When Oregon shut down schools, shit got real, overnight.

Nah....next week back to normal. Most people now have enough, they could only buy so much.

nah they are gonna limit who can go out to buy goods and how much of it soon. gonna be a tough few months

NO eggs in any grocery stores here. Bought the last dozen at a mini mart.

kek. You gunna die

Honestly you people laugh at toilet paper hoarders, but you really dont have enough toilet paper yourselves. The average person uses 1 roll per day. If you have a family of 4, that's 28 rolls a week. Over 100 a month. TP rolls will be worth their weight in gold in a few months, because everyone needs it.

If you don't already have what you need you are fucked. These assholes who didn't prepare are the same ones who will be infected shortly because they waited until the last minute to take it seriously. I would not go out at this point without a full hazmat suit and a respirator. Fucking even cleaning all the food you buy would be a pain in the ass.

This is a legit mobile photo as it loaded sideways. OP actually posted legit OC.

>Nah....next week back to normal
You're putting a lot of blind faith in mexicans & chinks. Don't let people take advantage of you.

Metzitzah bapeh

I've seen you post this elsewhere. No friggin way the average person uses 1 roll per day. WTF

bump
Watch WA and OR. We are the canary in the coal mine, and we are having food supply and distribution issues, bigtime

What they should do is shut all the grocery stores down and create different "boxes" of essentials to buy for a flat price. You drive up in your vehicle and they load it in the trunk. The people packing them wear the appropriate PPE, and everything is sprayed with an alcohol mister before it gets packaged. That way everyone can get what they need, and if they have to wait in a line it's in their own vehicle.

How? I just go to In n Out burger and eat. People are truly idiots.

>This is a legit mobile photo as it loaded sideways. OP actually posted legit OC.
Yes of course. I have more pics but they are over 4MB and I can't post them on pol baka

Man STFU you shill. This whole thing is fucking fake news

That's not how a culling works.

Kek, the mob tore the shelves off , wierd how they landed like that
Oh, its just op is a fucking retard

>I didn't take it seriously when I should have
>I'm still not taking it seriously after SEVERAL first world countries have been placed on lock down and my own country declared a nationwide state of emergency
You're a fucking retard and you deserve your fate. Enjoy your coronaburger.

Did the burger joint have its own stockyard and farm/greenhouse feeding it?
You gunna die.

to my knowledge Yas Forums erases metadata, so that flips pictures on phones to horizontal

I work in a grocery store, meat department. Good ol new england here. We were hit super heavy yesterday, no meat in the cooler until the truck came in today.
People were fighting for meat, bread, tp, etc. Putting limits on all our product. We sold almost everything today too. Still canned goods on the shelf. People buying tons of bananas. Suppy lines are feeling it, hope you're already stocked.
Hope im healthy enough to survive considering I'm dealing with last minute panickers, and have probably been exposed.

Lol, it's fake news you idiot...I just ordered a pizza you faggot. No problem, even got a soda with it. Ffs people are stupid.

In n out does, but it relies on wagies to actually come to work, which they probably will stop doing any time. Taco bell plans to stay open, too. Kek. You would have to be an absolute brainlet to interact with the public daily at this point.

Who can explain to me why everyone’s freaking out and talking about this storm to come

any grocery fags know the standard restocking day for most stores?

I quit my part time job as a deli clerk 2 weeks ago when shit started getting bad. I was more afraid of the affirmative action employees I was working with than the shoppers.

No toilet paper in stores in Pittsburgh, PA either. Or bread... or pasta. Milk and eggs though.

I ain't no boomer on his last legs. More people die from the flu, Corona is just a meme, fucking morons

roche?

oh boo hoo i might get flu but i don't have a huge paranoid schizo store of supplies taking up space in my house

forgot how many kids and idiots eat fast food exclusively, and can't cook
Yas Forums will be my window into that world
kek

Most stores stock every night after closing. If your store is 24 hours the best time to go is literally like 10pm to 6am.

Milk is gonna hit me the hardest. I have a few cans of evaporated which will last me for making tea.. as well as non dairy creamer.. but I have gastritis and a glass of milk is the only thing that soothes it sometimes.

>those pubes thru the panties

rural east Tennessee here. walmart was running out of canned food, was out of flour and rice and beans as well. pasta dwindling. i'm surprised that it's happening here so fast

>doesn't know the panic is the real killer

Attached: 760291ab34b8941f434b89d99b8a4a48.jpg (640x366, 26.24K)

Wish i could telecommute, but unfortunately cutting meat doesn't work that way. I avoid the truck drivers, but there's no way to avoid the customers when packing out product.
People weren't even waiting for it to hit the shelves, coming in close and grabbing it out of the boxes as i tried to stock. I'm drinking lots of fluids and sleeping early to try and keep up my bodies defences.
I wish i could avoid packing out product entirely, but what can you do. Not rich enough to quit unfortunately.

When i lived in Florida we always did this just before a hurricane struck. Everyone knew it was retarded, and mostly nothing happened to warrant the insanity, its just tradition i guess.
2 weeks later everything would return to normal and we'd all be embarrassed about it.
Every fucking time

Attached: 1580426614781.jpg (680x383, 46.65K)

SGV here, stores are EMPTY. Meat, milk, bread, diapers. It's crazy.

Next week, everything will be back to normal. Shit I'm more posted off that I can't find an orange stick shift zl1 1le

only low iq non whites panic over this.

Well, you never know when it might actually get bad. you wouldn't want to not stock up and then have it be the big one. I'm still not sure this is the big one

My mom just went to the store. She said people bought out all the lettuce. There were like over 100 heads of lettuce there a day ago...lol

>The average person uses 1 roll per day.
T. Boomer McShitsallday

why are all the people swarming supermarkets white then?

Truck driver here. I’ve got a trailer full of mayonnaise and microwaveable Mac n cheese headed to central California. You’re welcome.

I don't know user, saw plenty of whites with shopping carts overflowing with tp. Pretty embarrassing

Black Americans don't own flashlights and you expect them to prepare for a virus?

MN user here. Pretty casual here. As a /cvg/tard Ive been stocking up on a bunch of stuff for weeks. Got my elderly dad a bunch of soups and bagged pasta dinners. Was casually strolling through CooFMart and they were unloading some TP on the shelves and I casually grabbed some extra rolls for me and some for my my dad. Got lucky I guess, I didnt have that much stashed.

>teh-he-he I was actually prepared, how embarrassing!
Really user?

Hi TN bro
I'm in the east as well, white pine area
Havent been to Walmart in awhile, but the smaller stores are well stocked. May swing by a Walmart tonight to see whats going down. No corona- chan nearby yet

they have nonwhite admixture. it's that small percentage that overrides rational thought

Walmart best time is around 3am because they are nearly done stocking at that point. Most stuff will be on the shelves and anything else will be on pallets already out on the floor. There will only be one or two people there with you other than employees. After 4am is when you start to see more people coming in so you should be out of there by then.

What Is a Sourdough Starter?

A sourdough starter is how we cultivate the wild yeast in a form that we can use for baking. Since wild yeast are present in all flour, the easiest way to make a starter is simply by combining flour and water and letting it sit for several days. You don’t need any fancy ingredients to “capture” the wild yeast or get it going — it’s already there in the flour. (Also, the yeast adapts to whatever environment it is in. So even if your cousin in San Francisco gives you some sourdough starter, it will eventually no longer be true San Francisco sourdough, but rather New York sourdough or Austin sourdough or London sourdough.)

After a day or two, bubbles will start to form in the starter, indicating that the wild yeast is starting to become active and multiply. To keep the yeast happy, we feed the starter with fresh flour and water over the next several days, until the starter is bubbly and billowy. Once it reaches that frothy, billowy stage, the starter is ready to be used.
