On this day in 1940, Shaheed-il-Azam Sardar Udham "Ram Mohammad" Singh walked into Caxton Hall, Westminster and shot dead Sir Michael O'Dwyer as revenge for the massacre he had committed years prior in Amritsar, Punjab on the Sikh people which Udham Singh was witness to. This act of bravery and sacrifice by Singh epitomises the mentality of the Sikh and his martyrdom set in motion the chain of events leading to the liberation of India at large.
Dirty Poo, all the more amusing to think he probably mixed up Michael O'Dwyer with based Reginald Dyer, who actually perpetrated the massacre... better off just asking for bobs on the internet desu
Adam Wood
Dyer was already dead you idiot so he went up the chain.
Tyler Gomez
Imagining shitting and wiping with your hands and being so dumb that you forgot the toilet paper is wrapped around your head.
Sikh are based, in shit.
Nathaniel Phillips
Imagine insulting other communities when you're too afraid to rep your own so you hide behind a memeflag lol. You're pathetic
Connor Foster
Found the paki mad his cousin getting banged by happy singh.
Jace Nelson
You should go back if it’s so great in Pakistan or India where ever this shit stain cake from.
Levi Fisher
When did I say it was great there? Why are you putting words in my mouth mutt?
Josiah Rogers
>O'Dwyer Potatonigger. Doesn't count as murder.
Jayden Nguyen
Did he point the gun and say "I sikh vengeance"? I would have done that.
Nathaniel Lopez
You sure just won the internet
Ethan Edwards
*Sir
Aiden Kelly
These were the words he said on the murder: > "I do not care about sentence of death. It means nothing at all. I do not care about dying or anything. I do not worry about it at all. I am dying for a purpose.’ Thumping the rail of the dock, he exclaimed, ‘We are suffering from the British Empire.’ Udham Singh continued more quietly. ‘I am not afraid to die. I am proud to die, to have to free my native land and I hope that when I am gone, I hope that in my place will come thousands of my countrymen to drive you dirty dogs out; to free my country.
Levi Johnson
Fuck the internet
Jayden Cooper
I did Nazi that coming
Adam Gray
Anne frankly, you should be ashamed of yourself
Ryder Allen
Speak English, Pajeet.
Brody Rodriguez
The last bit is a sikh war cry, one person will say the first line, then everyone else responds with the second, loosely translates to >Shout Aloud in Joy >True is the Great Immortal One! (God)
Cooper Allen
Jeeze, why so angry... either that or he was a silly poo-brain who got the two mixed up
Aaron Jackson
Is that your campy attempt at humor? You need to concentrate harder and place these thoughts in the back attic of your mind and never forget to work harder to make yourself free.
Luis Myers
Nah, poo-brains are none too witty, generally speaking
I mean dyer died in 1927, chatting shit saying he should have shot a dead man makes you an idiot
Adam Ortiz
Fast forward to Indians massacring each other after independence, and Golden Temple massacre... WEW lads, that was worth it, eh?
Henry Parker
Shame no other poo-brain is here to answer, lmao
Joshua Perry
Blue star and the events surrounding it were the fault of the Hindu brahmin elite backstabbing Sikhs and British incompetence in drawing the map. It takes nothing away from the acts of Udham Singh. That's why I wrote both parts out
Ian Kelly
"When did I say" he should have shot Dyer? I just put forward the lulzy idea he mixed them up (he couldn't use wikipedia like the average retard). Simmer down my Sikh friend! and God be with you
Luke Wilson
Oh yes the epic colonial icompetence meme, one of my favourite copes...
Not really a meme, they literally split Punjab in half. Most of the important sites in Sikhism are on the wrong side of the line.
Mason Brown
most is an overstatement to be fair, definitely a sizeable amount though.
Xavier Bell
Sihks are good people. Stay in your country tough.
Josiah Robinson
No doubt, but blaming the Brits for the massacre is facile and therein lies the meme, although it's in line with postcolonial puerile behaviour. To be fair, you make a good argument for why an imperial power was a good idea in the first place, to act as arbiter, but the Mughal empire was kind of out of the picture by then.
Levi Butler
Oh yes, shitposting aside, I agree! I believe in wholesome conversation, Sikhbro!
Julian Green
Lol that never happens, it's always the opposite. Pakis have converted a lot of Sikh women to Islam.
Kayden Ortiz
Yeah I have considered moving to Punjab quite a bit but I was born here and I'm still learning the language honestly. I have a pretty good grasp of talking to diaspora Sikhs but speaking to natives is a whole other level. >blaming the Brits for the massacre is facile and therein lies the meme Yeah of course, the blame primarily imo lies with the Indian government, first for screwing Sikhs in the initial independence movement, second for obviously perpetrating the massacre, but considering the independent Punjab movement started basically as soon as the Brits were done divvying up the country between Pakistan and India, you can't help but wonder. >but the Mughal empire was kind of out of the picture by then Other more secular empires were appearing in its place. The Sikh empire covered modern day Pakistan, Punjab and Kashmir in relative peace and to the south the Marathis were claiming a good chunk of land from the Mughals too.
Grayson Garcia
>Hindu brahmin elite backstabbing Sikhs Sikhs carry knife for reason. Blame goes to them, should never have exposed backs.
Carson Moore
I'm Punjabi and I don't know shit about my own history. Where can I start
Jaxson Perez
Backstabbed politically lol, not talking about a literal backstab. At the time Hindu-Sikh relations were fairly positive, Nehru had said that an autonomous Sikh state within India was justified due to the role people like Udham Singh played in Independence in order to get Punjab to side with India rather than Pakistan. Just once that decision was made he didn't follow through. The Panth Prakash is a good place if you want it from a Sikh perspective, for a more western perspective there is History of the Sikhs by Cunningham and if you're more of a video type guy there is some good stuff on the Basics of Sikhi youtube channel. Also check out JungNihang, Karegakhet and Akaalsahaiji on instagram/twitter.
Nolan Price
Who do Sikhs side with, Hindus or Muslims?
Jeremiah Ross
In the current thing in Delhi? Neither. Official response from the Akaal Takht (similar to the Vatican) is to just accept any injured into gurdwaras (temples) and help them, regardless of side, and let them sort of the politics themselves.
Kayden Kelly
Interesting. But I would assume the official response has pressure from Mooodi govt. What about the average Sikh? And what about just generally?
Nathan Hughes
>Blue star and the events surrounding it were the fault of the Hindu brahmin elite backstabbing Sikhs >Indira Gandhi >Brahmin >literally a crypto muslim tyrant who added "Secular and "Socialist" into the indian constitution illegally during the 1975 emergency with a Captive Parliment >Succeeding Rajiv Gandhi who had the opportunity to remove Muslim Personal Law allowed for it to remain for Sharia and muslims having 4 wives exploding the muslim population. >Nehru-Gandhi Crypto-muslims crippled indian economy since the independence to be a puppet of the british due to fears that a resurgent free india would cause untold economic losses to the waning and struggling british trade empire. >Enforced green revolution and allowed for subsequent population boom to forment a permanent underclass that is captive to the Congress party.
The entire Brahmin elite narrative was drummed up by 'Secularists' leftist media have pushed this opinion and western and other audiences including the non-hindu Indian diaspora have slurped this marxist revisionist shit with gusto, while Muslims have monopolized politicized victimhood, Sikhs have been nuetered by the Congress and the Marxist control the education system and media.
That is why BJP exists, that is why Narasimha Rao a well known and capable Hindu leader reformed the socialist indian economy and made headway into alleviating the damage done by the Gandhi Cabal and all their pro muslim socialist allies in 1991, that is why Vajpyee initiated the pokrhan tests and India was a Nuclear power.
If it wasnt for them India would be a worse shithole than it currently is.
Joshua Nelson
Average Sikhs these days are pretty divided honestly, historically muslims have been the enemy but in modern times a lot of people are growing disillusioned with Hindus and a lot are adopting the 'enemy of my enemy' type mentality, which I don't necessarily agree with. I wasn't talking about Gandhi as being part of the elite, I mean earlier in Nehru's time.
Blake Hughes
Sikhs in britain sold glue and cigarettes to children. They're just pakis in rags
Levi Davis
Meh. Good luck with khalistan or whatever you want.
Justin Kelly
Nah Khalistan isn't really viable. I think arrangement like the Anandpur Sahib Resolution is probably better than a complete separation. Ah yes, anecdotes.
Noah Cooper
>I wasn't talking about Gandhi as being part of the elite, I mean earlier in Nehru's time. They didnt have any authority earlier either, Hindu Mahasabha had already reformed by 1890s and had mostly gotten rid of the caste system as a basis for merit, much of the changes happend in a period of 40 or so years and continued well after independence.
Nehru was NOT a Brahmin, he is a fucking muslim >From Bharat to India: the rape of Chrysee," M.K.Agrawal wrote in pages 459 - 460 that Gangadhar Nehru (Nehrus grandfather's) real name was Ghiyasuddin Ghazi who changed it to a Hindu-sounding name Gangadhar Nehru to void capture by the British after the Mutiny, he held a critical post of the security in charge of Delhi and that of the personal safety and security of the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar as the all important post of Delhi Kotwal under Mughal rule of Mughal India was held by Muslims, not Hindus.
Tyler Butler
That’s the nigga that pumps my gas I think
Anthony Stewart
Whatever you want to call it. "I blame Nehru and his friends for going back on their word". That better?
Joseph Martinez
Lol hindpoos these days are larping about akhand nonsense, they think they own Afghanistan too. Anything other than complete independence won't mean a thing.
I like the fact that you're posting this from the UK or whatever it's called these days
Charles Sanders
Sorry was for Khalistan wont last as it will be overwhelmed by Pakistani influence and violence, just look at what happend to the Kalat Republic. It is known that the entire movement was funded and armed by ISI and Pakistan and the movement is nothing more than just that, a proxy for Pakistani intelligence.
James Williams
Ah yes the mudslime is back after fucking his cousin, dont you have retarded nephew-sons to go take care off?
David Howard
Haha yeah, I considered using a meme flag but surprisingly no one has commented on that yet. Good job lads. Perhaps. But I worry about the geopolitical status of 'Khalistan' if you look at where east Punjab is on a map. this guy gets it
