Easily one of my favorite movies, just watched it again recently with the wife and kids.

Based and redpilled, basically implies that losing one's cultural identity to globalism is akin to prostitution, also the villain lady is a jew who tries to steal ppl's identity and make them work forever.

I could get past the art style for Initial D because it was engaging, but I have never been able to see what's the whoop over Miyazaki anime. Female protagonist anime series are just usually meh to me. It's always pandering to the "I like watching cute girls doing cute things," closet homo crowd that I am thankfully not a part of.

Why is the movement in these japanese doodles always so rigid? Because the japs are corner-cutters when it comes to the visual arts: they were drawing in isometric style with no perspective until very recently, namely via aryan infulences from outside.

Miyazaki Films tend to have very beautiful artstyles and they also have good plots, albeit too treehugger at some points but they're really good

The background yes, but I just can't get past the art style of the main characters. Everyone always says the plots are good, but usually within minutes of the opening finishing, I'm faced with some cutesy wtf pandering that adds nothing to the plot. Oh hay lets watch the silent freaky cat thing stare at the girl doing something inconsequential "but cute" and the villagers do that old anime thing of grinning and watching while nodding with approval....for several minutes. That kind of shit is unacceptable to me. I don't watch anime for that. I understand that some people do, but I am just not one of 'em.
