Wasn’t this called the rude awakening? Here it was called the rude awakening at least and as you mention al Pacino I am immediately reminded of his genius. Especially the submarine movie he did with Sam Jackson and where they decide that they have to leave someone behind to save oxygen because the visions they are having seem to be not true. Also that little cameo at the beginning was remarkable and clever. Al Pacino played the best way a captain of a submarine should act.
