European gun rights thread

In these desperate times, where can good European citizens arm themselves so they can shoot game in a post-apocalypse Europe with 96% deaths from corona?

I hear Austria has lax gun laws, you just need to be 18 to buy any weapon with manual reloading mechanism (bolt action, lever action, pump action, breach loading, revolver action) as long as it is 60cm long or longer (i.e. typically rifles). No restriction on ammo but I believe .50BMG is outlawed, you can get .338 Lapua Magnum for long distance precision sniping,

Oh, also you can buy Lee Enfields.

gun rights in eu???

You need airguns for squirrels and bug nets. All the deer and hog that can be found would be dead in 6 months.

in the eu you have no human rights you are essentially cattle for the next government thats how its always been

>Canada
You were saying? This is a Kat C, free 18+ to buy in Austria.

Come to Serbia and buy a gun. Everybody has one and will sell you one no license

how strenuous is the license process? over here its quick check and you are good to go

this is unironically the best advice. serbia bosnia or albania. problem is with snitches and border patrol

you can only own guns license free if they were made before 1900 kinda gay desu

yugoslav m92 and most variants €500. Decent pistols and ammo for less then €350.

You can drive here and buy one and easily smuggle it back in all honesty ....

hmmm, I want to compare the proccess a euro would go through to get a gun compared to that of some of my burgerland blue states (cali, upstate jewyork, taxachussettes, ect) to see if euro's have less bullshit than the mess those states are

I think the seller can easily rat you to the police, especially as non-serb speaking foreigners, and also the border niggers are some faggot bitches

There is no license process. You walk into the gun shop, you get the Kat C weapon, you show your ID that you are an adult, you pay, that’s it. Although there is a 72hr cool off period for Kat Cs if bought in a gun shop where you haven’t bought before. So You buy on a Monday and get your rifle on Thursday with ammo.

merkel said she will strength gun laws after what happened in 2019 though also do you have any criminal code for self defense?

Have fun with that. You’ll burn your hand holding the gun in front of the tumbler. There’s a small gap between bullet chamber and barrel, the bullet jumps emitting a small explosion.

>hmmm, I want to compare the proccess a euro would go through to get a gun compared to that of some of my burgerland blue states (cali, upstate jewyork, taxachussettes, ect) to see if euro's have less bullshit than the mess those states are

For what type of weapon? Semi auto AR-15 7x62 NATO? Semi auto handgun like a Glock? Or a simple hunting rifle like pic related?

Getting a handgun isnt that hard either.
You need a psychological approve (quite easy) and a reason (sport, self-defense, collection) and you get to buy all sort of semis and handguns.

I was talking about Austria. Austria has lax gun laws.

Even for handguns and semi auto rifles it’s a “shall issue state” as the law specifically lists “home defense” as an unrejectable reason to apply for a semi-auto handgun. Only thing to do is get a police record to check if you are a criminal and a 30min discussion with a shrink to see if you are insane. Oh and a 1hr gun handling course which is just to check whether you know how to load your gun, shoot it and keep it locked up at home.

whats the law for semi autos? bolt actions are only good for rural parts

Better? It’s calibre .408 CT. Free to buy aged 18 and above, no license required in Austria.

That's like your opinion man

pump guns are also outlawed and revolver fall under hand gun which requires a psych and weapon training test

test

What I explained here: is the procedure for semi autos.

For bolt action there is no license requirement. You just buy your rifle, that’s it. Just need to be 18yrs old.

Oh what the fuck, they unban me now. You fucking janny cucks.

welcome back faggot

>pump guns outlawed
yes, but not pump action repeaters like pic related. “Pump guns” as in sawed off pump action rifles are a problem. You can even buy semi auto shotguns with a license... 8-9 catridges max loading.

Ahat did you do?

wtf does shall issue state mean in this context? if you work for the gov you can own semis? sounds like they want you to be their bot to own semis

>another piefke thread filled with jealousy about austria
yes everybody knows we're the coolest guys, but lets talk about GERMAN gun laws they are much funnier
Post legal german crossbows

Don't know, I was drunk as fuck while posting one night and I got a ban stating I had broken some US law or someshit lmao.

>Imagine being a fucking eurofag
>Imagine not being able to just go out and buy a semi-auto pistol
Kek

“Shall issue” means there is no discretion for authorities. They can’t deny you a license because your “self defense” or “home defense” reason is deemed irrelevant because you live in a safe area. Every citizen and EU resident in Austria has a right to self and home defense with guns.

It's based on the language of the legislation, whether the state SHALL or MAY issue you a permit. "shall issue" means that the state must issue you the permit if you apply for it and meet the requirements. "may issue" means the state MAY issue you a permit if you meet the requirements. Basically it means they can tell you to fuck off and can ignore your request for any reason

no, pump action repeaters. its a retarded law because of some Amok run

in canada self defense works like this: youcan only defend yourself within a reasonable amount damage. meaning if someone pulls a machete on you can shoot them but not twice if they are on the floor.

You won't have to imagine soon, give it 30 years or so and a few democrats in office and things will likely change for you guys.

Ours are getting more restrictive, cops like to arbitrarily sidestep our actual laws to stop ownership (meanwhile any criminal fag can just pay double in BTC to anonymously get a handgun) and the guns and ammo are way more expensive than they have any right to be due to retarded politicians fucking with retailers.
On the bright side you can own decent weapons on a basic hunting license and if you actually have the ultra-fudd club connections and cash you can legally own machine guns.

luckily here they have to process your apllication since you pay 80 dollars for it. the only reason they can deny you is if you have a bad reputation

>It says here you didn't support socialism last year user. Looks like your permits been declined :DDD

World’s shortest thread

that would be discrimination something canada so fondly hates

So as a German or Dutch you could literally drive to Austria and just buy whatever, no restrictions? Aside from getting bent over sans lube upon crossing the border on the way back, of course?

Yes.

germany doesn't have that extreme gun laws, it has pretty strict ammunition laws tho
shotguns are especially easy to come by
rifles are alright
hand guns is rather hard

.50bmg also is not something you'd shoot a moose with but an APC
lapua is good for big game, like ton heavy game

In Austria it’s about the same, although defense of property rights are way better. You can shoot to kill to protect your property. So if some robber just took your wife’s diamond bracelet and is running off, you can shoot to kill, even several times.

That's actually kinda fresh. I'd have one.

Attached: 1581975496944.png (861x1062, 853.4K)

You can. But for it to be legal you would need to then tell your intention to export the rifle to Dutchland and comply with Dutch laws.

But if you don’t care about telling your intentions, you can just buy a rifle and ammo and do ehatever you want with it.

a guy here got away with killing a injun a couple years ago storming his farm. we have castle laws as well since 2013

In Austria it’s no related to land/home defense. It’s the value of what’s stolen or damaged. If it costs more than a thousand bugs, you sure can shoot to kill. If an illegal tries to steal your car, shoot to kill, it’s fine.

partly true. You can't legally kill an intruder if he runs away, unless you can prove that it was dark and you didn't see if he runs toward you or flees

best thing to get if you have to buy unrestriced is gonna be a levergun in 44 magnum or .454 casull, or .460 S&W.

44 magnum is the cheapest, but also the least powerful, still it's powerful enough to one-shot brown bears. Even cheaper, you can load .44 special into a .44 mag revolver or levergun.

.454 casull or 460SW are nice because they can both use much cheaper 45 Long Colt or 45LC+p. 460SW can even chamber 454 casull, but NOT the other way around.

The reason why, is because with just a few hours of training, you can easily shoot one faster than 2.0 rounds per second, and it will have at least a 10 round tube.

i'm interested

>You can't legally kill an intruder if he runs away
You can if he is carrying some valuable property of yours he stole.

A lever action rifle is pretty good for all post-acopalyptic scenarios, but only if you got a hunting rifle as well.

Attached: FC8A17EE-6271-4AAA-B47F-DDBF80812002.jpg (250x650, 35.26K)

If you get a good lawyer and the intruder dies, you might got it, but shooting a man in the back never looks good, and if he survives and gets a good lawyer you got a problem.

>7x62
you're giving me cancer

What can I hunt with a BB gun? Will it at least kill a rat?

If by hunting rifle you mean long range precision rifle, or what is it, Scharfschützengewehr? lulz German compound words, then yes. A levergun in a magnum pistol cartridge is only going to be effective out to 175m or so.

no. Better get a slingshot or even a bow or a spear

Lever actions and bolt actions ok for uk. Semi auto shotguns too.

sks maybe? i am going to get one

i was hunting sparrows and pigeons in childhood with this ИЖ-38 it's pneumatic 4.5mm rifle worked well on small birds

This semi auto shotgun though? (or similar)

looks like a toy

Sometimes bb gun can"t even pierce a balloon

I think I was wrong? What I have is a break action air rifle, not sure if there is a difference between that and a BB gun. It's a different projectile if I understand right? Anyway, it shoots with a power of 17J, above that and you need papers to own it.

7.62mm, typo

>Semi auto shotguns too.
What calibre?

that is something different
17 joule if you know what you do, you can kill more than rats

pigeons and sparrows, sparrows got great meat btw, but its small so u have to get bunch of them

Mate dont post stuff like this. Mutts going on about 'muh constituion and muh guns' is cringe enough. What's more cringe is when Euros respond with "But we hev guns 2!!11!!" and post retard tier weapons like this or some faggy straight pull 22. AR15 or ruger or something. European gun laws are pathetic man we just have to accept that. And Americans need to learn that they can bang on about 'muh guns' as much as they like but they do absolutely nothing with them accept shoot them into a dirt mound 100 meters away then upload it to YouTube.

German Gun Laws disallow bullpub type rifles,no chance at owning a L85/L86 :/

....
what a disgusting post

I wish you would stop trying to act as if it's your first thread on the subject when you've made the very same one everyday for months.
