- It needs to be a high output machine (like 10K)
- It needs to run for at least a few hours.
- The property needs to be vacant while it's running.

You could also use it to disinfect small items if you create an air-tight chamber to run it in. You could use something like a mini-fridge, or you could tape up a large cardboard box or something.

Also, if there is a particular room you're concerned like (like your bathroom), you could close off any air vents and seal around the door and run it in there for a few hours.
