So I was able to snag a 7182 3M respirator half-mask today for retail price and some 2091 filters. I also bought a pair of industrial goggles. My question is, when and where the fuck am I supposed to wear this shit? Now? Is it not bad enough now? I work retail, so I'm probably fucked anyway, but I wanted to get one just because. Help me out here and give me advice.

There was one person wearing a mask in the toilet paper line today at Walmart. Everyone was giving him dirty looks, then one guy punched him in the back of the head and ran away. Everyone laughed.
Masks are worse than nothing if you're healthy. Wearing one is basically a death sentence.

This is completely false. Surgeons masks don't protect the wearer (designed to keep surgeons from infecting patients) but N95 masks and respirators are designed to keep things out. I've been using them for more than a decade working with hazardous chemicals and particulates. Stop spreading blatant lies shlomo.
