Astrotheology is more philosophical than practical astrology, but the philosophical foundation of astrology might as well be called astrotheology. Sol, Luna, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are all "deities" if you want to see it in that way.
Religion can be interpreted through astrology, that is another aspect of it. You can say there are saturnal religions, like judaism and islam, for example; i am not a fan of interpreting semitic myths with astrology, though, i don't think it is necessary, it only distorts actual astrology. There is no need to attach an extra layer of obscurity to it nowadays - before it was different, since the bible actually forbids astrology.
