I think Trump faces a tough campaign. Biden is probably the ideal opponent--erratic, senile, prone to bizarre outbursts and word salad, a legislative record that makes him look slightly to the right of Trump--but now that he's the presumptive nominee he will be stage managed and you'll be seeing much less of him until the convention, where he will read a speech from a Teleprompter and then disappear again other than recorded statements and ads.
Trump has never achieved majority support in this country and the Democrats won't be making the same mistake that Hillary made. They will pour hundreds of millions into the states Trump swung in 2016. (Bloomberg will doubtless keep throwing money into the race just to salvage a shred of dignity after being humiliated.) In fact, a majority of likely voters wanted him impeached for no better reason than that they disliked his rhetorical style, despite a roaring economy and successes in trade and foreign policy. Meanwhile the media will be amplifying a probably inevitable economic downturn and telling every lie they have to to get revenge on the man they love to hate.
And consider that the Democratic party managed to very aggressively and successfully sideline Bernie and smooth the way for Biden after it became clear that a protracted campaign would hurt the party's chances in the fall. It was very competently done, even obtaining Warren's compliance (she must have really wanted to stick it to Bernie). This strongly suggests that Trump can't count on a series of arrogant mistakes this time. Biden will scarcely be involved in running this campaign. He will be hauled out for comic relief only. The real decisions are being made by the money men--hence the very well-executed screwjob on Bernie.
