9s are my choice. Get some Hornady HP ammunition, it is fucking gnarly stuff. If you can't, you could feed it fmj on the cheap. 500 rounds for under 100 bucks. Brass as well. Don't buy tula or bullshit ammo though. Get brass to avoid the mess. They will know they were hit, most importantly. Just put it in the chest cavity.
