So the hard numbers I've seen so far are: Italy: 10K infections, ~650 deaths Infographic: 52% resolved, 3.5% death, 54.5 pending.
If these numbers are true we're looking at a 6% kill rate and affects largely the same group that would be affected by the flu, BUT with spread rates that are slightly above cold status.

The author said that most people will just write it off as the flu and the only reason they were checked was due to an ongoing flu research study that picked it up.
