For Yas Forumstards? I think Austin, even though it's leftist as fuck, is the best because the niggers are segregated in the east side and if you live somewhere nice you won't see a lot of nonwhites except for college students.

Lived here 6 years now. The Woodlands (not even Houston really), far west Katy/Cinco Ranch, River Oaks, and Rice U area are about the only good places to live imo. Inner loop is a nightmare for traffic, bums, and housing costs. Weather is decent, I'll gladly take it over snow any day. Also, if you are somewhat intelligent you have a leg up on 90% of the population. Huge influence of black and latino culture obviously - dominates the city. Zero zoning laws, and areas are slow to gentrify unless it's the Heights. For a massive city, it feels small too. Once you've lived in the loop, that's pretty much it and you never really even spend time in half of it (5th ward, EaDo, north of Downtown). Galveston is also a dump btw. However, tons of jobs, cheap housing out West, and no income tax. Unfortunately Harris County goes blue and is ran by the dumbest and most corrupt politicians.

The rich "whiter" people from Mexico go to.San Antonio to escape the ravages of the cartel wars. I see a lot of them on the north side.

Dallas fucking sucks. It's either super hipster liberal or ghetto as shit. Essentially lots of "muh diversity" there. Traffic all the time. More expensive.

Fort worth is based though. It's a city but it doesn't have that city feel to it. People are less douchey there, with the exception from all the Northside beaners or the TCU and Westover hills rich snobs. It's cheaper to live in fort worth. IF you can find property that is Tarrant county AND out of any city limit, it's based.

I have to choose between the Heights and the Woodlands because my job is in the suburbs. Kind of torn, because the Heights looks nice and is close to all the good restaurants, museums, and White Oak music hall, and I also find a badass luxury apartment with reasonable rent too. Woodlands would be comfy too, but I think it'd be boring for me and food shittier. Also, I'm actually Mexican (castizo variant so white skin but still), so I wouldn't mind being near Latinas downtown if you catch my drift

For what it's worth, Austin has its heart in the right place, which is exactly why lefties are moving there and ruining it for all of us. I cannot drive down there without getting a bad taste in my mouth -- it's almost like the municipal government is letting that deterioration happen.

As far as shitholes go, it really can't get worse than El Paso

In general though, I would recommend looking at medium sized cities like Lubbock, Amarillo, Waco, Wichita Falls, or Beaumont.
As for the other larger cities, Fort Worth and Arlington are alright, Corpus Christi is a shithole, and El Paso is clown world levels of bad

I'd rather be "bored" than live in any of those other places honestly. I guess it's a trade off I am willing to make to not live in Dallas, Austin, SA, etc. I lived in Dallas and I'll be honest, absolutely hated it even though there's tons of stuff to do there. I'm also biased a tad bit because I'm from the west side of DFW.

I left in 2013 and it was still pretty white back then. But I looked at last year's demographics statistics for my highschool and whites were only 52% of the total student population. When I graduated 10 years ago it was close to 80% white.

No such thing. You might find a place that is nice at first glance, but live in them a few months and you will notice there is alot of cut corners in the construction (hardworking immigrants my ass).
I lived in a "luxury apartment" in Clear Lake. The rent was about $1300 for a one bedroom with less than 900sqft. It had single pane windows, so all the heat bled out in the winter and cool air in the summer. My energy bill was so high because the shitass unit had to struggle to regulate the temp.
However, that is what I had to put up with to not live next to niggers and beaners in Houston. Even then, on occasion a family of 8 spics would move into the one bedroom above me with their 4 kids running back and forth waking me up. If you can't afford rent over $1,000 you might as well live in fucking Oakland.

I've lived in the Heights. It was fun for exactly 1 year. Yes - plenty of food places and bars, but it gets old as fuck because you're basically living in a big old neighborhood that's sort of it's own bubble with yuppie families. It costs a fortune and you end up going to the same run of bars on Yale & White Oak. I too drank the koolaid with everything you mentioned and attended literally zero concerts, drank at the same 3 bars, and ended up downtown most weekends. At least you're close to downtown/midtown nightlife and all the Washington bars, but I grew out of that and moved out west. If you want to just party and fuck, then do the Heights for awhile or consider Midtown - you lose the neighborhood/family feeling and it's more city vibes if you want the party life for awhile.

If you're more chill, then move to The Woodlands. At this point of my life, that place seems pretty comfy with all the trees and new development.

Just to give everyone an idea, it's more (((diverse))) than NY and has more islamic mosques than any other city in America.
