bro, the NGOs are in hiding, they are scared shitless and many have left greece, a guy doxxed a few NGOs yesterday and I think that will only make them go even more into damage control
either way he would have to contact people BEFORE getting there to avoid problems
my biggest concern would be if he got beaten because the locals thought it was too weird to have a guy show up out of nowhere to help them and all alone, most people going there to help are going with a group so even if they dont find anyone to tag along they can patrol by themselves
I personally like planning stuff and organizing everything to avoid unpredictable stuff to happen or at least to reduce them because there will always be something weird you have not predicted

>f you ask me, I would tell you to plan this better, like, find a place BEFORE you go there, find people and groups BEFORE you get there... define everything beforehand, the least unpredicted events the better, who knows if the hotels would even be open due to quarantine? >that also gives you more margin to plan the ticket date and maybe even get some extra money yes of course, this is the aim. i have a week so this is enough time. my issue will lie with what day i fly out/which airport i leave from/arrive to. as i dont think i will be able to just land and straight away get to where i am going. once the tickets are sorted, then i can do the fine detail planning. i have a few options so over teh coming days il let you know how the details come together. best case scenario i can make a comprehensive plan with instructions so if other people are interested, once i completed the journey and its all worked out/figured out what needed to change i can let others know >If he wants to do something that could actually help he should infiltrate an NGO. They would be more likely to take in an English speaking foreigner. i would not be able to keep up a facade to interact with those treacherous pieces of shit. i dont want to be anywhere near them unless its rounding them up for deportation

>Have fun getting stopped at the airport. Corona cares not for your little LARP crusade. you sound worried, abdul
You sound ill-prepared, Pajeet. And you won't be able to travel to Greece in a week.
Christian Clark
>And you won't be able to travel to Greece in a week. thats where you are wrong. i could fly there within 48 hours if i wanted to. travelled across europe like this before for ventures. im not sure why you are so concerned, so i rest easy knowing this isnt your problem, nor your business.

Have fun on your fieldtrip user, don't forget to take some pics for your scrapbook to share with us.
depending on how much greek mobile phone data costs/how the coverage is when im there, il post from location when i land. il take loads of photos and videos anyway just to share with my family and friends (and the local church who was welcoming this fucking invaders at the start of the year). im excited. all i have been able to think about since last sunday

also, I would suggest you talk to a few greeks here, Lesbro and others for example, I'm sure they'll be able to provide you a perspective that is waaaaay more realistic
they could even save you the trouble by saying something come in two weeks or something, for now most borders have been reinforced

UK will be in complete lockdown in a week. Why the fuck would I not be worried about someone with good intent throwing that away because they're reckless fools?
