In a weird way these conspiracy theories are comforting. The world is a fucking chaotic mess. What happens in the world is the result of an incomprehensible web of preceding events, an innumerable number of interactions of different people. People that are individuals with entire lives of their own, hopes, dreams, reasons for how they act. Claiming the world is run by a few evil men is easier to accept than that you are trapped in world that is pure Chaos. Nothing in your life is certain. You can get run over tomorrow by some drunk retard, you can have a random brain aneurysm or halfway across the globe some chink eats batsoup and millions of people die. This scares simple minded people so they cling to their fantasies of order in the world.

Oh that's definitely something. I have 5 dogs. I read a thing some years back that dogs are sensitive to that sort of thing. It also stated that dogs prefer to face either north or south when pooping, something to do with magnetic fields and preferences. I started paying attention to their orientation and sure enough. Most pointed north or south usually after walking in a couple circles to get themselves oriented. Majority of cases where I didn't see them go while facing north or south, there were usually things obstructing such as metal gates, houses, cars, etc.
