So what're the different regional terms you guys have? In the US we have "New Englander", "Southerners" (Southeasterners), "Midwesterners", "New Yorkers", etc.
What do Iraqis use? Shroogi for the Iraqiuans on the map () , Wasiti, and Khaleeji? Or are all of them just called shroogi?
saddam ruined it >By October 1978, Iraq President, Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr began working closely with Assad to foil the Camp David Accords; signing in Baghdad a charter for Joint National Action which provided for the "closest form of unity ties" including "complete military unity" as well as "economic, political and cultural unification".[7]
>In 1978 Iraqi President Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr and Hafez al-Assad, had agreed to a plan and started to make treaties that would lead to the unification of Iraq and Syria. This plan was to come into effect in July 1979. However, Saddam Hussein, the Deputy Secretary of the Iraqi Ba'ath Party, fearful of losing his power to Assad (who was supposed to become the deputy leader in the new union), forced al-Bakr into retirement under threat of violence.[8][9]
>Unity talks did continue between Assad and Saddam after July 1979, but Assad rejected Iraqi demands for a full merger between the two states and for the immediate deployment of Iraq troops into Syria. Instead Assad, perhaps fearful of Iraqi domination and a new war with Israel, advocated a step-by-step approach. The unity talks were eventually suspended indefinitely after an alleged discovery of a Syrian plot to overthrow Saddam Hussein in November 1979.

Shroog = redneck. Basically closest term
Derogatory term meaning poor uneducated rural folk in southern Iraq but can be expanded to anyone who's from a rural background

>a communist army There is no such thing as a communist army, you retard. Communism isn't military doctrine. Its economic doctrine. I can't believe brainlets like this accuse me of not reading theory. Death to all memeflags and death to all arab diaspora talking out of their asses.

>ctrl+f communism >0 results >ctrl+f commiunist >0 results >ctrl+f marx >zero results Read the references you post, retard. Communism is about collective ownership of productive property, not about killing protestors or running an army. You are wrong, retarded, and a coward who refuses to drop the memeflag. Privatize yourself to the nearest psychiatrist.

>saddam apologists trying THIS HARD

Finish the question
Name the countries that in your opinion, qualify as communist, and the dates of their legitimate communism.
Or admit these buzzwords are getting over your head.

No country achieved communism, as any communist would tell you. A few were trying to. China is no longer trying to. However, this is completely irrelevant to your stupidity. To claim China is communist is stupid. To claim an army is communist is stupid. To insist these things after being taught otherwise is extra stupid.

The 1979 Ba'ath Party purge was live on TV and can be found on YouTube.
what does that have to do with bakr's resignation ?
you dont even understand what they say in that video

>posts lenin >lenin himself would support me brainlet

Bakr wants a united Arab republic. Bakr is forced out just as the deed is about to be done. Saddam removes Bakr supporters and unionists live on TV and cancels the deal.
Why didn't Assad agree to union with Saddam? He onlly wanted a union with an old sick dying man so he could have all power
Btw I love Bakr even more than Saddam
Easton Reed
>According to you, *things i never said* Lenin was a communist. The Communist Party in Russia was working towards communism. It didn't achieve it. At some point it stopped trying. The USSR (one of the S here being Socialist) was a socialist state trying to go to communism. Not a communist state.
>Mao beat Chiang, thus modern day China is communist! Brainlet nonsense. Think for 2 minutes about how this logical flow goes.
