Not a supporter of ethnostate, but the trouble with exceptions is that they only work for like-minded people willing to lose for the good of whatever the rule being excepted is there to do. For instance, if exceptions are made for castizos or east asians, either at large or case by case, people who don't get to be the exception have to accept it, and people who do have to work for the good of the ethnostate rather than their racial cohort.
