My dad works in a hospital in Louisiana. One, Veterans had its first confirmed Corona case today. Right now there's a suspected case at University hospital which is right by the VA. There's probably many more cases that will be confirmed here in the next few days, Mardi Gras was 2 weeks ago and people infected then from people visiting from out of town are just now going to be showing symptoms after the 2 week incubation period.

It's going to explode here soon. Now my dad is working in a hospital and they're not even wearing masks in the ER yet! Seriously, no fucking masks on the doctors in the ER at this point, this whole situation is fucked. We had MONTHS TO PREPARE and we did NOTHING. People are going to die, a lot of them because of the lack of preparedness. This is just one state, it's happening across the entire country.
