My dog is very small, so I just feed her scraps of meat instead of irradiated ruminant kibble with sprayed-on flavour.

Im a poorfag so I got him cheap food that will last 6 months. Purina and ol roy. If supply chains don't take a complete shit I will just give it to a shelter or something as I don't actually want to feed him that crap.

You're better off prepping for yourself and letting your dogs eat your table scraps. Dogs can eat human food, chances are you won't be able to stomach the taste of dog food.

This is pretty good advice, that's what dogs did before there was "dog food" and why they ever followed us around to begin with. There are a lot of foods that are poison to them. Onions for instance, that includes garlic, garlic and onion powder as an ingredient, grapes/raisins. pinto beans. There are others, but those are the most common things that people feed to their dogs that end up killing them.

I just have a leopard gecko who eats meal worms. If shit hits the fan, will feed her pieces of meat and fruit I have once the worms run out.

gecko skin always looks so soft, like it's almost plush, is that how it feels or what? I've only ever touched an iguana and it freaked out and broke my finger with it's tail. They're horrible creatures.

Leopard geckos are very soft, one of the softest skins you can touch on a reptile. Also had iguanas and bearded dragons as pets. I put beardies>leapords>iguanas as best pet lizards from experience based on interaction (b.d. are basically bug eating puppers)

Purina (most of it, they have like 4 tiers) is still really decent food in the lower ranks. They've been making feed for animals for over a hundred years. They know what they're doing. Even if the chicken is whole breast meat, the necessary nutrition is still there. No shame in using Purina.

They're both very lean also, so I dont think they can fast many days. They share a whole roast chicken everyday, and I think the high protein keeps them lean.

I hate to say it but if shit gets bad enough your pet could end up having to be your food source, so it might be wise to have one.

Just feed your dogs small portions and get them used to a certain diet (for example if you're eating rice and beans a lot). Either way, if you're in quarantine you're going to be cleaning up dog shit anyway since you won't be able to leave your house.

Got a couple of crested geckos that eat powder/water mix (and pic related that eats dubia roaches). But they fucking love apple sauce (unsweetened) more than any other fruit. Try it on your leopards sometime.

Rubbing alcohol is better than hand sanitizer due to the higher alcohol concentration. I think mine is 92%. Just put it in a squirt bottle. Most hand gel stuff is "50 > 70" which means somewhere between there. The higher the concentration, the faster it kills viruses. I don't have the data available, but I believe corona-virus takes 2.5 minutes saturation @ 70% alcohol - which most hand gels don't actually reach (again, 50>70).
