The "argument" in the comic is a non-sequitur. The supposedly wrong statement is about neo-marxism NOT marxism.
yet the retard who made the comic is claiming that because marxism is modernist, neo-marxism is also modernist, which is a false assumption.

Why do marxists (and newfags sent here by Juden Peterstein) refuse to understand that "cultural marxism" is not considered a branch of marxism (like Stalinism, Maoism or ML)? They just cannot get past the name (like cuckservatives and their ire for national SOSHULLISM) and they spew this same non-argument constantly.

Cultural marxism is neoliberal globalist progressivism, essentially SJWism. The reasons that "cultural marxism" is one of the terms used to describe it are:
- the core cadre of jews who first pushed marxism adopted it after marxism failed to achieve their objectives (destroying the West)
- the application of dialectics as a fundamental aspect of the ideology (where marxism was concerned with economics "proletariat and bourgeois", cultural marxism substitutes "oppressed and oppressors"

You don't get to hand-wave cultural marxism because "it's not da same thing!". No shit it isn't the same thing, that's why it has a different name.

The most obvious hot take here is of course the fact people don't just arrive at a point where they're arguing against cultural marxism and pomo degeneracy without doing a fair bit of reading. These are topics that at least to your average layman are very dense and hard to digest.
There's something else here on display though, the author's complete inability to offer the reader meaningful direction.

Most of this guy's comics are pretty interesting but he has this weird obsession with people who complain about post-modernists and rather than address the fact that there is obviously something to the idea that weird psuedo intellectuals up their own asses with made up bullshit are ruining a lot of things in our society all he can do is wave around the fact that he knows more about philosophical terms than the average person and pokes minor, inconsequential holes in their arguments. Basically he knows a lot about the fine points of thd history of philosophy but seriously struggles to understand its context or relevance.
