The point he's trying to make is that the Internet used to be a place that normies hadn't totally infested and turned into generic garbage. Every year it gets worse, less imaginative and more banal. This has very little to do with "teenagers and kids" repeating jokes.

I'm convinced these are just bots building "realistic" profiles. I've noticed this on nearly every video I've seen recently. They likely scour the video's audio for quotes and stick them in some template.
