How do I get around an IP Ban?

I was IP banned from Sherdog, an MMA forum, because I was trolling. So everytime I try to make an account with the same IP adress, they know it is me. I used TOR for a while and it worked, but then they still know it is me. I guess the Mods know that I'm using Tor Browser, and know the type of phone/computer I am using. So what do I do to get around the IP Ban? Plz help.

Just ask your ISP, most ISP's will change one's IP per customer request.

nowadays most forums (including 4ch funny enough) ban your MAC address, which is essentially your hardware identifier. They do this because historically people would get around bans by resetting their modem and getting a new IP address, but since it's much more difficult to swap out your physical hardware it prevents most people from circumventing bans.

Just google "MAC spoofing" and you'll quickly figure out how to generate a spoofed (fake) MAC address

It's extremely simple on linux-based systems, have not tried it on Windows before but should be similarly easy.

Ip logs are stored in sys32. Delete that then reboot, and all you need to do after startup is press alt f5 to toggle ip. Easy peasy

You have to reset any cookies from those sites too.

An ISP that uses DHCP... like most cable ISPs will give you a new address from their pool when you spoof your MAC address.

Do it with your modem off and be sure to change the "WAN" port/ adapter MAC address.
