Kind of. I heard from a very reliable source that Bootsy was never paid a dime, which at first he was okay with because it was promoting his music. He started doing more and more, and finally asked to get a little money for his work. They said no; and then Bootsy found out Ryan and his production company was taking a cut on projects they had nothing to do with. He brought this up and they told him he’s done. The movie was awesome the interracial kiss at the end ruined the movie and James wife wrote that part of the script where the nigger kisses the white girl.
