Contraceptives aren't the "core" of the problems in modern society, capitalism is.

It matters because female attraction is not a constant and shifts with hormones. The pill shift's females mate preference towards more feminine males, among other things. Look at the last 50 years and you will see its effects...from marriage / divorce rates, to male dropout.

I don't necessarily think profit and capitalism are inherently bad, but they need to be incentivized to serve the needs of the state, and by extension, the Nation.

While there are inherent benefits to centralized direction in economic activity, it also creates a lot of potential centralized corruption. There is a balance to be had no doubt, but I see the current corporate structure with our centralized power system as inherently corrupt and anti capitalist. It is more a form of corporatism. I don't see how this gets better when your system of government has more power to regulate the economy. It seems like it would only get worse.

Well, ideally, you pair that government with a system that allowed the Nation to have an actual say in their own governance. You can pair that with electorate controls like citizen service or property requirements, IQ test, whatever, in order to ensure a baseline level of quality in the people making the decisions. You can't ever totally remove corruption from a system, but there are ways to severely limit it and encourage the state to consider the needs of the nation before individual desires.

That's one possibility. Requiring state service of some kind in order to have a vote/serve in government would definitely be a strong method of ensuring that people willing to sacrifice and serve the good of the Nation are the ones actually making the decisions.

But like I said, requiring a minimum property amount (in land, most likely) or making people take some kind of voter intelligence/ideological screening could work too.

There are effective methods of governmental control as well. Require more transparency in things like government finances, maybe force civil servants to disclose their finances, etc, are all ways of limiting government abuses.

I want to stress that I don't think you can ever completely remove corruption from society/governments, but you can take measures to limit it.

The problem with things like land control is that it can be very oligarch prone. If you made it elective upon a sacrifice (like civil service) it could work I guess. But you definitely do not want to preclude lower status children the ability to ascend with proper sacrifices. It is essential to a well functioning system.
